Live from Minnesota, its Democratic Senator Al Frankens bid for reelection, and hes got an eight-point lead over Republican challenger Mike McFadden.

So, alas, are the Republicans.
Not at all sorry for voting for Roberts. When you looked at Wolf in detail, he was not a very good candidate and lacked lots of experience. Bring better candidates to the table and I will consider them. Until then, Roberts is a good conservative presence in the Senate until he can be replaced with someone better.
Not sure why you are so bitter towards him unless you’ve fallen for the agitation of the left, trying to lump all republicans in the same category as Cochran and McConnell, which Roberts is most definitely NOT if you look at his voting record and conservative positions.
The left is pulling out all the stops in trying to defeat Roberts, including trying to agitate conservatives, this should tell people all they need to know how they would fear Robert’s vote, especially since he would most likely caucus with Ted Cruz. They are not that far apart on many conservative issues. I’d much rather have that than give the seat up to a liberal that will side with Dingy Harry and help keep him in power. I understand people’s frustrations but this mess we have in America didn’t happen overnight and it won’t be fixed overnight.

Minnesota is a lost cause.
Franken’s unfit for office. Not surprisingly, his campaign lies:

Even by Demwit party standards, their senate candidate and gov’nor candidate are running really low-down lyin’ campaigns. Could easily be a sign of desperation coming down to the wire. The Pubbies wisely kept their spending tolerable and the campaigns positive.
Gary Peters was screaming for a debate with Terri Land but his people saw something in her town hall meeting the other day that scared them. Less than an hour afterward, the Land campaign got an email from the Peters campaign calling off the debate.
Also today the AARP demanded that the Peters campaign take their name off an ad attacking Land.
“Not sure why you are so bitter towards him unless youve fallen for the agitation of the left, trying to lump all republicans in the same category as Cochran and McConnell, which Roberts is most definitely NOT if you look at his voting record and conservative positions.”
I am not bitter! I am just very tired of the same old turds being re-elected decade after decade. That is not what the framers intended service in the Congress to be. Guys like Roberts ( and that other Septuagenarian, Urine Hatch (RINO, UT) have been in the Senate far too long, and I guess it’s the voters fault that they continually take the easy route and return these people to office ad nauseum.
I don’t live in KS so my feelings in this particular case don’t matter, but if I had been there, I’d have gone for Wolf if for no other reason to change the dynamic in the Senate. Cochran, McConnell, Hatch, et.al., have all outlived their usefulness as legislators. Now it’s all about them, or they would retire and move new, young people into their seats to allow for a natural generational transition. But they are all selfish, and prefer to go from their Senate seats to the local cemetery. Just a shame we let them do it!
The USA has 49 states, and Minnesota.
“The Democrat Party was too conservative for Minnesotans, so it got absorbed into the more popular Farmer-Labor Party, which only affiliates with the right wing national Democrats.”
You mean like Franken, that commie governor, and the RAT mayor of Minneapolis, you mean like those “right wing” Democrats?” I guess being from California, I have no room to complain, but at least there was a time in my lifetime when Caifornia was conservative. I can’t ever recall anything conservative ever coming out of Minnesota other than that clown, Jessie Ventura, they elected governor. Now there you’re talking a Franken-like disgrace of the first order.
There are a lot of us that tired of the dynamic we have right now but until we get term limits we have to deal with the hand dealt to us.
Like I said earlier, I understand people’s frustration but we can’t throw the baby out with the bathwater here and allow the left to acquire even more power by tossing out a good conservative vote. Roberts did not sell his soul to the democrats like McConnell and Cochran did. Yes, they’ve all been around too long but that’s where the comparisons end. Roberts has a history of standing for good conservative principles. Only the left agitators would love to see them all tied together in order to knock out a good conservative vote.
We can be frustrated all we want but it is what it is with how the dynamic has played out until we get term limits. FWIW, I’m all for term limits if we can ever get “we the people” to agree to make it so. Term limits is long overdue.

Wow, good stuff!
Looks like a good FR topic. :’)
I kinda like this self made ad by Mike Shirkey for Rick Snyder. Just straight talk probably in the tool room of the machine shop he owns.

Obama says this election is about his policies and the democrats are running from them.
I like it.
Perhaps, but term limits is an admission that “we the people” are too stupid to see the wisdom in turnover in elective office. But I will grant you that a good term limits law might serve to blunt the monetary advantage that inures to the incumbent. Unfortunately though, my bet is that it takes less than one term in the case of a Senator to corral the money.
Minnesotans are frickin’ idiots. I think the CDC should exile all Ebola patients to Minnesota and let a “purging” of the population take place.
Here is the direct link to the Article about the Pubbie in SD polling 35 percent:

This has been touted as a “sure win” for the GOP from the get-go. I have not followed the SD Race and I had to do a Google search to find out which guy was the Pubbie. This is a shocker. If the GOP loses South Dakota..... Turn out the lights, the party’s over.
RINOs in Kansas support the leftist Orman. Roberts is a Conservative.
