This probably a good idea given the abject stupidity of the police and judges in this day and time. Neither has the intellect to discriminate between children at play and criminals in the process of shooting up a bank.

Painting my Glock and AK orange now, just in case.

I remember reading about a guy painting the muzzle end of his gun "florescent pink". His reason was concern that some anti-gun activist might try to falsely accuse him of "brandishing" and waving the gun around. His defense could simply be to have the officer ask the complainant "What color was the gun?"
