A Justice Department official admitted that former IRS official Lois Lerners apparently missing emails actually exist on a backup server, but the government doesnt plan to retrieve them.
A Department of Justice attorney told a Judicial Watch attorney on Friday that it turns out the federal government backs up all computer records in case something terrible happens in Washington and theres a catastrophe, so the government can continue operating, Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told Fox News Shannon Bream.
But it would be too hard to go get lois lerners emails from that backup system, Fitton continued, paraphrasing the DOJ official. So, everything weve been hearing about scratched hard drives, about missing emails of Lois Lerner, other IRS officials, other officials in the Obama administration, its all been a pack of malarkey. They could get these records, but they dont want to.
Fitton said his group plans to ask a federal judge to order the IRS to hand over the emails, which conservative opponents of Lerner want to see in order to determine if there is a link between President Obamas team and the IRSs targeting of Tea Party groups.
If this backup system is working, Lois Lerners emails are there, Fitton said.
So that means all those IRS people who swore to congress while under oath that the eMails do not exist were commiting perjury.
Lerner and Obama, and by their doing NOTHING
Issa and Cummings, funded Hamas.
How many children have been murdered from their funding
Hamas and other slavers and terrorists?
The judge dealing with this issue is not likely to put up with such nonsense.
People need to go to jail - yesterday!
All of them, all the way up the line.
The problem with that is that we do not have a penal colony large enough to accommodate all of them!
We could re-open Alcatraz, perhaps.
And, the prison where the Shawshank Redemption may still be available.
Any others come to mind?
I imagine the email’s will finally appear...the day after the November elections....
If this backup system is working, Lois Lerners emails are there,
They’ll say the backup system is NOT working!
“What’s the purpose of backups if you can’t get to them when you need them?
At worst, it may take a day for IT services to restore it but ... too hard to do? Not buying it.”
Probably saved to tape and over the years they got rid of the tape drives.
Are you kidding? There is plenty of room between Barrow, Alaska and Prudhoe Bay to punk down a big prison. Surround it with ice berms and hunt down escapees with armed drones and AH-1Z Vipers.
Yeah, the dark side of the moon.
Just how stupid do they think we are ?
Unfortunately, stupid enough as a nation to have elected this bunch that makes a mockery of honesty and integrity
Personally, I vote for catch and release, one at a time, in a TV show to be titled "No place like Nome in December!" Of course, you'd have to use night-optics and IR (at least for a while) but the challenge would be EPIC!
Just one thought, would bikinis be too much, for all genders I mean?
I recommend Alcatraz. Fall is coming and it will be cold and dank there.
How about building a new prison camp for them all. Say at Lat 69.367581, lon -153.559135?
No guards required, solar power with ration/supply drops once per week as weather permits.
To be a little more specific on your great idea, see my post below yours
I am using all these excuses when I get audited. I done scratched my hard drives. I could find all that info in 10 minutes but it is too hard.
We think alike in geography my FRiend, but I like my idea (#22) better!
No, I don't know that. Neither do you.
By now they have been either altered or completely recreated per their desired story.
Reopen Alcatraz with no amenities, arrest the high criminal players, lock up, blow all pier and support areas, leave. Put up anti sub nets, mines, coastal AA around the bay, and a few dozen buried bunker buster in case of any mass personnel problems. No parole.
it certainly seems like it often enough
I think it could work! The details can come later, after they are all locked up and just after the trials. :p
Fine and jail all of them!
The chief enforcer of laws in US is Eric Holder.
Lerner will never go to jail while Holder is in charge.
Neither will any one else who could hurt democrats by spilling the beans. They are all protected by Holder/Obummer.
I just put this on fb with that exact wording.
I imagine the emails will finally appear...the day after the November elections....
So true, just like the video became a second story after the election....
In other words, what we have known all along - the emails are on the email servers and in the backups.
A subpoena is a subpoena. It doesn’t matter how “hard” it is to retrieve the documents, they’re obligated to retrieve them. Now if the ‘Pubbies would show some guts and start perp-marching Lerner and the rest out of the Capitol to a waiting Black Maria, we might get somewhere.
Fat chance. Oh, well.
Lock them up there and hold the trials by remote video to and from the site. There would be plenty of lawyers there to plead their cases.
I just sent it to the TrueTheVote FB page.
Great Minds, - - - and all that.
AUGUST 25, 2014
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding recentsworn declarations made by IRS officials in response to Judge Emmet G. Sullivans continuing investigation into the missing emails of Lois Lerner and other IRS officials, which have been the subject of longstanding Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and lawsuit ( Judicial Watch v. IRS (No. 1:13-cv-1559)):
Contrary to Judge Sullivans specific orders and the law, the Obama administration persists in obstructing the truth about missing emails from Lois Lerner and other IRS officials. Judicial Watch will press its concerns on Monday, August 25, before U.S. Magistrate Judge John Facciola, who was appointed by Judge Sullivan to manage and assist in discussions between Judicial Watch and the IRS about how to obtain any missing records. Magistrate Facciola is an expert in e-discovery.
Judge Sullivan, in his earlier ruling, appointed Magistrate Judge John M. Facciola to manage and assist in discussions between Judicial Watch and the IRS about how to obtain any missing records from other sources. Magistrate Facciola is an expert in e-discovery, and authorized Judicial Watch to submit a request for limited discovery into the missing IRS records after September 10.
And you’re Barney Fife?
What’s your point?
If this were actually in the IRS, all they'd have to do is to show the Judge and it would be all over. GIANT Facepalm!
Theyll say the backup system is NOT working!
They will also say the BACK UP TO THE BACK UP is also NOT working.
That picture is really Jim Robinson’s den, down in Fresno.
The wheel is how he steers world opinion.
Make them all wear pink underwear - except for the women.
Sheriff Arpaio would.
This is just more incontrovertible evidence that the entire Federal Government is wholly, totally and completely illegitimate.
We must come to understand that the Federal Government as it now exists HAS ABSOLUTELY NO LEGITIMATE, MORAL or LEGAL AUTHORITY TO GOVERN US ANY LONGER.
All it has is the end of a gun to force itself on us and demand compliance with it.
The faster We The People come to recognize this fact, the more possible it might be to save what’s left of our liberty from it.
So the judge can arrest the Justice Department?
This is pretty much what tyranny looks like.
I think I recognize it by the unabated, rampant lawlessness and the basically, “Bite me” message being sent loud and clear to a sitting judge with jurisdiction.
In front of a judge - today!
To the gallows - tomorrow!
