Democrats Not Sure What Flag Is Celebrated On Flag Day

On Flag Day, the Democrats twitter feed sent out a photo to, one assumes, celebrate and honor the day. There was only one slight, tiny, no big deal little problem with the flag. It wasn't ours.
As you can imagine this is all over the news in the mainstreahaha ha ha ha ah just kidding. So far the only cable coverage has been on Fox News. Of course, this reminds us of the 2008 DNC where any kind of flag was hard to find. You know, until we found them.
For the Democrats reading this, an excerpt from USA.gov:
Flag Day, celebrated June 14, has been a presidentially proclaimed observance since 1916. Although Flag Day is not a federal holiday, Americans are encouraged to display the flag outside their homes and businesses on this day to honor the history and heritage the American flag represents.
Oops.
So far, no explanation has been forthcoming. But the Democrats did offer up a preview of their July Fourth photo: ....

Seriously. I mean ... you just can't make this stuff up. Maybe it's drapery from a parade. Maybe it's something else. But it's not the American Flag.

My guess is the flag of Puerto Rico, which they mistakenly thought was a Cuban flag.
The Cuba flag looks similar, but has blue and white stripes with the star on a red field.

I expect this. It is all standard issue incrementalism.
I also expect no one in the opposition party to make the stink it deserves simply because there is no opposition party to said incrementalism.
