Calamity: Despite repeated reassurances that ObamaCare website glitches were fixed, officials are frantically trying to repair massive problems that, by their own admission, could crush ObamaCare and the insurance industry.
Throughout December, administration officials said that they'd all but fixed the start-up problems with the ObamaCare exchange site, pointing to the sharp increase in enrollment that month as evidence. And as to those "back end" problems that sent erroneous information to insurers, they claimed to have cut the error rate to less than 1% by early December.
But hidden from view, administration officials were in a state of panic.
A procurement document posted on a federal website, but little noticed by the press, depicts an administration desperate to immediately replace CGI, the key contractor behind Healthcare.gov, with Accenture.

Not to worry. It was all a plan by dear leader to give America a glorious single player, socialized medicine program.
Live with it, love it, comrades.
Replace one set of inept cronies with another set of inept cronies in an effort to fix stupid.
In the military, we used to call this a clusterfuxx!
That's a feature not a glitch. Obamacare is working just fine. It is destroying the heslthcare industry, increasing dependency on government, and redistributing income from the middle class to the Democrat taker voter base. It will lead to calls to save us by installing full government national health care. The more destruction of the present private health care and insurance businesses, the better. It is burning the bridges behind the American people.
The insurance industry, yes. Obamacare? Not to worry. Socialized medicine will do just fine under the Obama/Reid/Boehner Axis.
One of the objections that was raised about the private health insurance industry was that a “faceless panel” of insurance executives would be making the determinations behind closed doors about whether to continue funding for persons suffering from chronic and possibly life-threatening conditions.
This decision-making power has certainly been co-opted by a different “faceless panel”, this one by government functionaries, who supposedly had more nuanced and humane determinations of whether to continue funding for persons suffering from chronic and possibly life-threatening conditions. But their determinations may be made from other than merely financial considerations, although that would figure greatly in their decisions most of the time.
Soylent Green, anyone?
We are all expendable laboratory rats now. And ultimately, fodder.
Crony idiots on both sides saw this as a way of bilking the people for billions upon billions but failed to factor in their own ineptitude leading to gross failure.
Fortunately for the "connected" the government has the benefit of the GUN and will make themselves whole in a manner similar to how the BANKSTERS made themselves whole after the sub-prime lending crash - by robbing the people.
BOHICA, boys and girls, BOHICA!
I don’t know about the status of this notice of procurement, but I can tell you with some self assurance that whoever the government official who wrote it is now probably at Gitmo. Bwaaaahhhaaaaaahhhaaaa......Obama and Valerie must be really, really pissed.
It's not that.
The enemy is inside the wire.
Hospital waiting areas in the emergency room are going to need expansion to about the size of Yankee stadium.
It’s not a bug it’s a feature.
Security Expert Hacks Obamacare Website In 4 Minutes; Accesses 70,000 Records. And he did it with just a standard browser. No special software or hardware needed.
In my cynical mind, I imagine healthcare.gov has already been hacked multiple times and HHS has imposed a news blackout about it.
The new cronies are only getting $90 million of our tax dollars, unlike the first cronies who got $800 million.
And I was assured by my favorite liberal that it was preferable to have agents of the benevolent government making these decisions that for dastardly private insurance companies making them.
