Larry Speakes, who spent six years as acting press secretary for President Ronald Reagan, died Friday in his native Mississippi. He was 74.
Speakes died at home in Cleveland, Miss., where he had lived the past several years. Bolivar County Coroner Nate Brown said Speakes had Alzheimer's disease.

Never did quite know what to think of Larry. But certainly God bless and rest well.
Wow - such horrible scandal! (sarcasm). Compare that to Barry and Moochelle - it was akin to Saints vs. Demons running the nation.
Speakes sold his soul out quickly for a little ca$h and to get accolades from the liberal press that he desperately wanted love and approval from.
RIP.
I wonder what it is called when someone’s name suggests their profession. Larry Speakes was not the only example of this.
