Those durn Baptists ... hey, leave Levon alone!
Big bullies. Pickin’ on that poor little corksoaker. Y’all oughta, you oughta, why, hey—How can you tell if it’s ‘Date Night’ in Tuscaloosa?
The pickup trucks have tobacco stains on both duh-duh-duh-duh-doors!
I don’t even now where Tuscaloosa is but you sure just painted a picture with that joke. I actually burst out laughing!!!!
“...instead he had a tantrum.”
I believe that is properly referred to as a “hissy fit”.
“The District of Columbia has the highest rate in the nation, compared to other states, more than 9 times the national rate....Seven of the top 10 states by rate are in the South.”
OK....what sets the South and DC apart from the rest of the country? Very large Black populations. Is it possible that HIV is becoming, or has become, a largely Black disease? If so, it’s news to me.
Tuscaloosa is in Alabama. I spent a week there one day ...
No, but seriously, my Dad and I stopped there on the way to my first year of college, and had a nice catfish dinner and met pleasant people. There’s also a University there. My friend’s daughter went to ballet camp there this year.
“In 2011, the diagnosis rate for HIV cases in the United States was 15.8 per 100,000 population and 60.4 among Blacks. Of 197,090 diagnoses of HIV-infection from 2008-2011, Blacks/African Americans accounted for:
47% of the total
64% of women
66% of infections attributed to heterosexual contact
67% of children, ages < 13”

So it looks like there is an HIV problem in the Black community.....now, what is that problem? Education? Lifestyle? Other? I don’t know.
Well I know here Alabama is and you usually find anywhere in the world (if you are not a snob) that the hardworking poor are the nicest people. I live in Australia - my son moved from Adelaide to live in a Melbourne in a place called Frankston. It is supposed to be the pits of Melbourne - turned out to be one of the few places I like because the people will talk to you if you speak to them. The rest of Melbourne is full of latte sipping metrosexuals.
Mel
You never know; down there they might just pronounce the "et" in ballet like bullet.
Just kidding, as you know I live in a trailer park and the great majority of residents are unpretentious and friendly. Two of us even started up our dirt bikes this morning and rode (undocumented) up and down the street. Happy Thanksgiving!
Is this about Rush’s good friend?
Faggots can be found in a steel factory
Uh huh, and butt poking has nothing to do with it, got it.
Barf.
Homophobe!!!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Jim.
Whenever I hear ‘make no mistake’ or ‘let me be clear’ coming from anyone’s lips, the next thing I usually hear is a bald-faced lie.
Thank you very much, Las Vegas Ron!! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Mind your inputs and outputs Elton.
At the University, they probably say Bahl-AY, even in Alabama.
Tuscaloosa was nice, back in the early 80s. It’s probably bigger now. The name means “Black Warrior,” referring to the Creek Indians. That’s the same language in which Oklahoma means “red dirt.”
Alabama used to have an awful homeschooling law, so bad that people on the border would register in Tennessee instead. I understand they’ve improved it in the last few years.
Happy Thanksgiving! We went to church and then stayed home, cooking and stuff. Anoreth is home, so we have the Complete Horde. We just drew names for Christmas presents.
There’s a Quinceanera on Saturday for the daughter of one of my Mexican choir members, so we’ll all be partying. Music is still in flux; I have to call someone tomorrow and say, “Nail it down, so I can copy the words for everyone.”
We should market a tshirt with a “not an entrance” or “exit only sign” with an arrow pointing down on the BACK of the shirt.
Well, lemme put it bluntly...quit being fags and you won’t get AIDS. See how simple that was?
Well, maybe. But mostly it's butt pokin' and needles.
