SEATTLE —

Seattle City Councilmember-elect Kshama Sawant told Boeing machinists her idea of a radical option, should their jobs be moved out of state

“The workers should take over the factories, and shut down Boeing’s profit-making machine,” Sawant announced to a cheering crowd of union supporters in Seattle’s Westlake Park Monday night.

Another one who left her hell hole of a country to come here and now is working to make it as miserable as where she comes from. Tell me again how much we benefit from immigration …. People from other cultures often have a hard time grasping the concept of private property. She is a poster girl for that shortcoming.

The current residents of Detroit have an equal chance of restarting these factories producing useful goods as do the union members of Boeing with their factories in Everett.

People from other cultures often have a hard time grasping the concept of private property.

As well as the right to bare arms, the concept of limited Government, and the principles on which this Nation was founded. Not the least of which was a reverence for God and an acknowledgment that we are in His Hands - with our eyes always focused on that fact.
The other cultures 'don't get it', nor do they have a desire to 'get it'. Our own schools, media, politicians, etc have scrubbed out these basics -- and with 'all cultures being the same' -- they exult the big nanny government and a disarmed populace.

Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

One of the things that makes me the maddest is people coming here to find the freedom to use our liberty against us in an effort to make our country into one like the human cesspool they came from.

It’s free love, man. We’re gonna smoke weed and get funky building a community fleet of free lovemobiles powered by compost for cruising around the city any time you want. Drop acid, not bombs, man.

As a part-time economics professor, she’s helping to do the separating of people from reality. At least her husband wised up and separated from her...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kshama_Sawant

Kshama Sawant is a a member of the Socialist Alternative party, the United States section of the British-based Trotskyist international organization the Committee for a Workers’ International (CWI). She has referred to herself as a Marxist.[28][37]

Sawant became a socialist activist and part-time economics professor in Seattle after emigrating to the United States. She held part-time teaching positions at Seattle Central Community College and Seattle University[3] and was a visiting assistant professor at Washington and Lee University.[4]

Sawant’s core campaign issues were raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, implementing rent control, and instituting a millionaire’s tax.[22] She is also a supporter of single-payer health care, expanding public transit and bikeways, ending corporate welfare, ending racial profiling, reducing taxes on small businesses and homeowners, protecting public sector unions from layoffs, living wage union jobs, and social services.[39] Sawant maintains that a socialist economy cannot exist in a single country and must be a global system just as capitalism today is a global system.[40]

Sawant has called for a revolt against student debt saying that “the laws of the rich are unenforceable if the working class refuses to obey those laws.”[28]

Sawant advocates for a moratorium on deportations of illegal immigrants from Seattle and granting unconditional citizenship for all persons currently in the United States without citizenship. She opposes the E-Verify system.[39][39][41][42]

...the first socialist to win a city-wide election in Seattle since the radical progressive Anna Louise Strong was elected to the School Board in 1916.[2][5][6]

Sawant married her husband Vivek, an engineer at Microsoft, and moved to the United States.[10] After moving to the United States Sawant decided to abandon the computer engineering field. She began to pursue study in economics due to what she described as her own, “questions of economic inequality.”[11] She entered the economics program at North Carolina State University where she earned a PhD. Her dissertation was titled Elderly Labor Supply in a Rural, Less Developed Economy.[5][12] Sawant moved to Seattle in 2006 and, after hearing a speech by a Socialist Alternative organizer, became a socialist. She became a United States citizen in 2010.[13] Sawant and her husband Vivek are separated.[14]

>>“Parts is parts”. LOL

If they really want to make “peaceful” things why not just make flowers? Their councilmember is producing all the manure they could ever need.

So, according to her biography, Sawant is a typical socialist millionaire piece of human fecal matter who never actually worked at a real job that created anything of value.

A regular run of the mill liberal politician.

Color me surprised.

Union people will cut off their noses to spite their faces.

Yep, happend in a lumber mill I worked for in CA. During the time the lefties were trying to ruin the lumber industry in the USA(and almost, but not quite, succeeded)our mill wanted to reduce wages and some benefits, the Union members absolutely refused. Another company bought us out and shut down the mill, saying they only wanted the privately held timber our company owned in order to supply their mill which was about 80 miles from us.

Naturally they were non union and would not hire the people from our mill for any jobs even if we all wanted to move.

I ended up in computers which I had wanted to do for some time but many of them ended up with very low paying jobs. The mill started at 10(this was quite a while back)and went up from there depending on what job you did. I was a sawyer and made 16 bucks an hour, completely paid health insurance and 6 weeks paid vacation every year. Thanks to the BS Union we lost all of that, not just part of it that the company wanted to cut.

Thanks for a good laugh.

I actually live in Seattle and missed the reference to west.

I do have an excuse, though.

I lived the first 40 years of my life just off the beach in south Florida.

That means my cartographic DNA says that water is always east and land is always west.

Re: “This certainly makes me want to start a business in Seattle.”

SeaTac, one of the small towns just south of Seattle, just voted in a $15/hour minimum wage and guaranteed sick leave for any business that is involved with the airport.

I believe this includes all hotels, car rentals, restaurants, FedEx, etc.

I actually don't know if they have the legal authority to enforce this.

The measure barely won, just by 40 votes or so.

The fact there are inspectors doesn’t mean work will not be less than acceptable. It is the nature of union workers to commit vindictive retribution.

The first hint of any improper work or outright vandalism Boeing would shut down and bring in federal agents. It happened in the 1997/8 strike. A lot of union workers lost homes and cars they were out so long.

I have a flaked out family member in Seattle. It is a fitting place for a Femi-Nazi Libtard, what with able bodied bums all over because of welfare-gone-wild and.

The only good part of the “Seattle Scene” is the seafood.

Given a chance, the flakes will outlaw any harvest thereof so the poor seals can eat.

I have an idea for a bumper sticker:

Save A Salmon SKIN A SEAL

That should cause Libtards to stroke out in significant numbers.

;-)
