I know about that one of course. Just wondered whether it had ever happened under other administrations. It just seems like vandalism.

‘...it ensures the “death spiral”’

No, it ensures increased taxpayer funding to prevent the ‘death spiral’.
That’s what has always happened why should this be different?

I can’t think of a single time voters have rescinded a ‘benefit’ from the government.

LOL!
something I looked up the other day for someone here (they were not impressed):

“...(S. 115) ‘‘To modify the act of the 14th of
July, 1832, and all other acts imposing duties on imports,’’ introduced by Mr. Henry
Clay, of Kentucky, February 12, 1833.6 Objection was made by Mr. John Forsyth,
of Georgia, and others, that the bill was not constitutional, as the Senate did not
have the power to originate such a bill.7 The bill was considered and carried to
a third reading, when, on February 26, it was laid on the table,8 the bill of the
House (H. R. 641) being received in the Senate at that time. This House bill had
originally been reported on December 27,9 but, on February 25, on motion of Mr.
Robert P. Letcher, of Kentucky, the Senate bill proposed by Mr. Clay had been
moved as a substitute and adopted, retaining, however, the House number10 This
bill passed the Senate and became a law.11”

The ‘LOL!” is at the coincidence, not the question.

Thanks! Well, SCOTUS will soon be deciding this question, I hope.

If you denigrate little moves when little moves are all that is politically possible, you end up with NO moves.

This is the essence of ingratitude.

Sometimes the winning move is not to play.

We shouldn't be playing this game with the Dem's.

The GOP isn't Bob the Builder, we can't and shouldn't fix this.

What does needs to be fixed are things like TORT reform.

I am also no beholden to the GOP for anything.

No amount of time would fix this crazy heap of lies.

The proverbial stars are all wrong for any sort of “fix” to let this abomination live, unless it is as a moot nullity in name only that touches nobody. Not while Americans remember what healthcare had been — and can even see now in the private practices that operate “in the cracks.”

The small moves, if that is all that is politically possible, DO leverage larger moves. The Democrats can NOT turn loose of the tar baby. I say a slow death in public sight as the Democrats visibly fight it all the way is GOOD GOOD GOOD. It will yield dividends far beyond health care being restored to sanity.

And anyhow! Who’s calling it a “FIX.” Nobody in Congress is. Obama isn’t — he calls Democrat bills fixes, but Republican bills something else. This “FIX” stuff about Republican bills is a terminology the MSM is cooking up! I warn you, be careful not to let the MSM dominate your intellectual cogitations.

Read my #147. The MSM has hypnotized you and many others here with this evil, lying, Satanic word “FIX.” The GOP is thinking “relief.”

The GOP should be out there demanding 24/7 that the whole law needs to be gone.

But the Upper Echelon Members won't because they love big government too.

That is why they sabotage Ted Cruz or Ken Cucenelli in Virgina to help the dems, their brothers in government.

If the Problem is Solved than the need for a problem solver goes out the window, thus the Ruling Class works themselves out of a job and the perks.

No, Gotta keep that crisis going.

By the way, building is the way of God. So don’t mock “building” moves. Sometimes the best building is to restore the status quo ante.

Of course do not be “beholden to the GOP” but if the GOP manages to allow God to have His way, don’t spite that way on account of the GOP not doing everything you’d want.

The devil has routed your mind into the trivia with deep dark suspicions that oh, evil is pulling the house down and it deserves all your attention. When God should be looked at hardly at all, oh we are too busy with this devil.

I see the big picture here. Really when one stops damning people, the big picture will practically heave into sight before your eyes.

And yes of course what you suggest, would be the best move.

But to spite the GOP when doing something that is less than that but that can easily lead to more (I think keeping it before the public eye is WONDERFUL in this case and I don’t care if it gives the GOP a chance to gloat in the spotlight) is to cut off your nose to spite your face.

I do not believe Upton's Pandering Political move has much to do with him wanting to please G-d.

This is Cold Cold calculation to get the GOP version of Government Health Care, it still doesn't do away with tossing money down the whole with the website.

This is all about Politicking, you get Deathcare entrenched and anyone coming along saying it needs to be gone is attacked by her/his own side saying, "wait lets not be too hasty"

Again look at the Income Tax, they talk about lowering it, but how about getting rid of it?

That is why I don't look at things anymore from Rep-Dem perspective, they ARE the Uniparty of Government.

Because you can’t be beholden to a naked “principle” either. From the “principle of the thing” it seems obvious. Mow it all down, save us the agony.

However there aren’t any naked principles. They don’t live in and of themselves. They are only manifestations of a very much living God. God may deem it best to rein in one principle in order to get another principle deployed. I think wising up America to issues of true goodness and true evil may actually be considered, by God, worth the pain of a slow takedown of Obamacare.

“The heart of the king is as water in the Lord’s hands.”

Doesn’t matter what kind of king it is.

Quit trying to spite Upton. Look for the overarching, all-governing Lord here.

You have basically said in your alarm “All men are liars.”

Which is to say in context, they cannot carry at least some approximation of truth.

Yes, even Upton can be illuminated by the Lord. I don’t get this faux-delicate “G-d” stuff. God is God and deserves our full respect when speaking about Him.

First: We Jews hold a VERY high degree of respect and reverence for the name of G-d. We write it so his name cannot be defaced or destroyed. It is with the HIGHEST respect that I re-frame from typing it out.

Second. There is nothing more important the principles. You should always vote for principles because even if you vote alone, your vote is never lost.

Third: The Slow takedown of Deathcare isn't. That means the goal is to get it entrenched, the true believers have wanted this from the very beginning, all this website stuff is nothing in the long run. Lenin said the keystone to a socialist state is healthcare. Once they take control of your body, they will NEVER let go. Look at everything they are telling you what you can/cannot do.
