I knew this would happen. Expect this to happen in most states. Idiot in chief doesn’t understand that policies are approved a year in advance and they have to prove they will be solvent with the premiums. vss coverage.

I have been ready to march on the White House for a while now. My niece’s husband thought I was going too far. He has now changed his mind.

“When people see loved ones, friends and neighbors experiencing real hardship, maybe.”

The economy has been in the toilet for 5 years. People have been experiencing “real hardship” for 5 years due, in large part, to Obamacare. Yet he still got elected in 2012.

I’m skeptical that even seeing a loved one die because of Obamacare will awaken them to the fact that Obama and the Dems are lying, thieving, blood-sucking tyrants. We’ll see what happens in 2014.

his sudden realization that most Americans weren't up to the task of selecting their own health insurance.

Actually, I would agree with this statement. Having sat through several dozen incredibly dumbed down insurance explanations as an employee, I'd guess that a fair percentage of people look at their benefits and just pick the cheapest one. Heck, I'm no dummy and I need to take a few minutes every year to read things overs and weigh the pros and cons.

However, the fact that people are idiots doesn't mean that they need to be pushed into a single payer "State Knows Best" system. No winners there, you just take what you get and be thankful for it.

If anything, a population of idiots should encourage more privatization, as the ins. companies will have added incentive to better explain what they offer....or lose customers.

they [ins. cos. in WA] don’t have to worry about this latest crap

Good point. Obama's put them in a bad situation -- either extend the old policies, which is an administrative nightmare, or not extend the old policies and enrage their customers.

Methinks they'd rather not have to make the choice.

I just went over to DemocraticUnderground and, as expected, it is a Dumpster Fire. They are screaming and crying at everyone and everything.

You ain't just a birdin!

According to this twit's tweet, they've even lost Piers Morgan ... and when this flaming Libtard jumps off the progressive bandwagon, the ship's sunk!

“Don’t the poor insurance companies have any say in Barry dictating what they are and are not going to do?”

That is the kicker - they don’t have to do anything he says.

<....”Its a slow motion train-wreck. Every step Odumbo takes gets him further into the mire”....>

His agenda for single payer is working just fine.....when all is unsaid by congress, and Obama continues with his plan that this indeed fails....he and the Dims will say they tried but the Republicans and Insurance companies did them in leaving them with no other alternative but to go to single payer...

Nope...when this is all over the Dims will be hero’s for rescuing us from the Insurance Companies by taking us all under single payer.....all these fix’s will not work....and these scenes playing out in the news were well anticipated by this administration. In the end it will mean no skin off their noses at all.

This ruling that WA State residents will not be allowed to keep their insurance is not a rebuke of Obama, but statement of support.

WA State was way ahead of the feds on Obamacare. Gregoire shoved through the set up of the state exchanges and other regulations before the Supreme Court even ruled on the constitutionality of the law. She did it because the State Attorney General had signed onto the law suit against Obamacare without her permission.

What the insurance commissioner is saying is that with or without the feds, WA is going forward with the plans for socialized medicine.

The low information voter predominate. They are easy to control and manipulate. I see this a threat to our Republic, Isn't it any wonder that the politicians think they can do whatever they want?

People get the government they deserve. Obama is the result.

Totally. Obama isn't the problem, he's just an opportunist.

The problem is an electorate who would vote for him. Twice.
