Well, I know three people (one guy and two women here in WA in a cancer fight who have lost their coverage. talk about the “war on women”. One business owner lost coverage for his employees.

And the idiots in the Boeing union voted 67% not to ratify their contract.

I think Americans are doing something by doing nothing. No one is signing up.

People, really, go to the article and read exactly why he won’t let people keep these policies. He’s a diehard lib who refuses to budge from the position that everyone whose policy was canceled will get a better deal on the exchanges. He wants to force them to get an Obamacare policy “for their own good” :)

With friends like these, Obama doesn’t need enemies!

It is literally impossible to do what Obama suggested.

WTF is he doing?

"he and the Dims will say they tried but the Republicans and Insurance companies did them in leaving them with no other alternative but to go to single payer..."

After this debacle, who would be stupid enough to EVER trust "the government" about ANYTHING healthcare related.

I actually think this is exhibit A in why single payer would be even more of a bust.

The democrats would run as fast as they could away from it.

Kreidler, a Democrat, says all of them can get better coverage on the new health care exchange.

I do pray daily for people who have been caught in a real bad way in this. Hoping that some way can be found to continue treatment. I am not saying everything is peachy in WA, believe me, just a matter of relatively so compared to some other states.

Even if the insurance commissioner had allowed the “restart” to go ahead, there doesn’t seem to be any way realistically that insurance companies could reinstate policies in anything near that time frame. Plus their business models and risk pools would be screwed up beyond comprehension.

So it is going to take congressional action to force this issue to happen! So the vote tomorrow in the House is important.

I’m in Washington state and it seems that our leftist government is set on doing anything that would be good for the public or for the economy.

And I am appalled at those dumb Boeing machinists not taking their contract deal.

“Better coverage”

But is it better overall, considering the increase in premiums and higher deductibles, and paying extra for coverage you not need nor want.

NO!

Yes, the mantra from dems up for re-election will be “we are working hard to get your old plans back, but the republicans are the party of NO”

Exodus from Washington!

Sort-of welcome back to America, Jane. What’s the reaction to this locally?

I can just hear the obamabots now...
“But King Canute ordered the tides to stop!”

Actually the obamabots will be saying,
“Obama ordered the tides to stop and they would have
except for those nasty republicans stamping their
feet and making waves!”

Obama can’t simply decree outside the confines of legislation...he tried for a while... he really did....but it’s come home to roost. he wrote a law, it doesn’t work, and he wants to fix it sans ...congress...er...i mean, “ reality.”

As a national spokesman for the “National Assocation of Rocks”, I “represent” that remark comparing us to 2/3rds of the American people.

We are strong, solid, enduring. People build long-lasting things with us including homes, buildings, BBQ pits. The low-educated Americans burn down their homes when building a BBQ pit.

We are old but still here, unlike the temporary stupidity of too many Americans.

We are the weapon of a David against a Goliath. Even in Afghanistan and Vietnam, American soldiers used rocks against the enemy, successfully. Ever throw a Democrat against a commie or a jihadist? Would never hit the target. Besides, you saw how Obama threw a baseball. Embarrassing.

Rocks are beautiful works of nature. Democrat/liberal/marxists are “zombie works” of a demented American Left.

Finally, people collect rocks, not Democrats or the low-educated blindly obedient voters.

Please use another item to compare the 2/3rds of American fools that you are talking about. Perhaps Sea Slugs or fans of Alec Baldwin.

And I’ll bet Bill Gates gets the best health coverage of all in the State of Washington! He could and probably has bought his own doctors, hospital room, etc., etc., and enough to buy a fully staffed modern hospital for just himself and his family.

However, the little guy now has to pay a hell of a lot more for that Best Coverage there, Mr. Kreidler.

Now for some, the choice is going to be pay the mortgage or pay for health coverage, but not both.

Thanks, democRATS!
