1). Don't go to stupid places with stupid people to do stupid things. Simple but often ignored. Listen, we do not live in a fair world where everyone respects everyone else. Nor where everyone gets along. You may in fact be totally color-blind in a socio-ethnic sort of way, but not everyone is. So even if your liberal sociology professor thinks it is a cool thing to take a stroll at midnight through a ethnically homogenous part of town (different ethnicity that you), it is still a stupid idea.
2). Always have a method to defend yourself. Even if it is not socially acceptable, or in line with the rules of the day, having some sort of weapon is essential. Right about now, some of the Doodley Doo Rights are screaming that I am telling people to violate the law. Well, go and google these stories. Look at the faces of the victims...specially the one on life support right now. Put yourself in their shoes. Your choice is to arm yourself in violation of the rules, or to take the raping, beating and robbery? What would you choose?
3). Avoid if you can. If you are standing around and see a group of twenty young urban thugs about two blocks away yelling, "kill whitey", and looking at your reflection in the store window, realize that you have not been in the sun in a while, here is my advice - "RUN". If it looks like trouble, it probably is. The gang is not there to debate the effects of american corporate expansion on the development of the urban neighborhoods with you.

in the first place, the liberal sociology professor is most likely jewish, which means he views white Christians as the danger and the minority neighborhood as mostly friendly.
Without going into detail, I was attacked by a group of 8 or 9 Blacks in Asheville, N.C. in 1969.
They had blocked my car and all piled out of a Pontiac convertible. I had a Browning Hi-Power and reached for it. They saw what was happening and piled back in the car and took off.
The whole key to surviving was to have a gun. It was under my seat and illegal in N.C. at the time. It held 13+1 which was considered hi capacity at the time.
The key is to be armed and ready to use it.
Excellent advice.
Problem is you can go to a Wal-mart in the whitest part of town and still not be able to avoid a flash mob. The black thugs who engage in flash mobs no longer confine themselves to black areas. And more and more young white thugs are getting into the flash mob thing, too.
I don’t go anywhere unarmed now. Even when I had to go to the courthouse where guns are not permitted, I took one and checked it at the front desk with a deputy.
I am also getting into knives of late. But the gun will always be there.
Prepper ping worthy, from a SHTF/survivalist viewpoint?
I go to Wal-Marts that are not close to any public transportation. These days, it’s smart to stay away from any mass-transit terminals. And carry.
My amex card: kel-tec .380 filled with hollow points, extra mag on belt.
Made in FL, guaranteed for life and you don’t even know it’s in your pocket. Plus they use the good Italian mags.
How did you make them aware that you were carrying? Did you simply hold it up in view through the windshield or did you get out of your car and make it visible?
You might have saved your life.
Your safety always comes before their feelings.
This is a VERY important rule to know, especially for children. Far too many folks sense danger, but don't take the correct action because they are afraid of hurting the suspect’s feelings if they are wrong.
Example: A lady steps into an empty elevator. Immediately a strange man steps in after her. The lady senses that something is wrong, and that she should step back out. But she doesn't step out for fear of offending the man. So now she's stuck in a potentially dangerous situation for no good reason.
Fellow Freepers, tell you kids about this rule. Your safety always comes before their feelings!
*- Means using both hands (Weaver Grip is preferable).
I left a Demny's late one night like that. Didn't know it when I sat down, but an Amish club across the street had a shooting and a lot of the patrons came across the street including people that were involved. I heard a loud woman yell something about "You shot my boyfriend, N%£#¥r," and threw something. I bolted out the fire door with my "posse" and we found another venue for our late night snack.
That is another piece of excellent advice. We all need to train ourselves to overturn our own inner societal conventions.
Only a fool thinks going anywhere without some protection is ok.
Retail workers in all types and level stores.. run into angry and fowl “shoppers” daily now. You never know when the next “hit” might come and it’s usually not the ones you think would come unwired and threatening.
There is no “safe” retail place to work today IMO ..because we live in an angry society now. Malls are especially attractive to these thugs as our box store chains.
I actually never got the Browning out. I kept it in a Browning rug which came with the gun. As soon as I reached down for it, they knew what was going on and one of them yelled that I had a gun.
My date told me that we would have never made it if I had not had the gun.
After the event, I realized I might have done a few things wrong. The window was rolled down and the door unlocked. If they had really been determined, they would have gotten to me before I could have gotten the gun out of the rug. I probably should have hit the lock then rolled up the window then gone for the gun but it all worked out for the best.
I work at a Mall and have my own plan of escape which is contrary to the stores directions. Why would I run to the back of the store and into the warehouse when a mall exit door is 100 feet or so from where my dept is?
As usual the reason they do have these “Store Plans” is to keep track and account for all the people. Well, not me..I’ll be out the door!

I bought a Brand new Kel-tec PF-9 and the third round FTF. So did the fourth. Perhaps it didn’t like that brand of ammo, but I don’t feel like I can trust it in spite of it feeding other ammo without a problem. Shopping for a replacement now to keep in the car. I have also since bought a Ruger LCP .380 to carry in lighter clothes.
Excellent advice. I’ve been mugged twice on the streets of Philly, in the old days, when all they wanted was just your money. Not a fun experience. Now, racial revenge, inflicting damage and possible murder is what they want, and since bloodlust is impossible to satisfy, you must know how to fight.
