New Orleans (CNN) -- A suspect has been identified in a New Orleans parade shooting that left 19 people injured. Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas said that authorities are looking for 19-year-old Akein Scott. Serpas said New Orleans police are familiar with Scott, who was arrested in March and may be out on bond. "I would recommend strongly that Mr. Scott contact anybody who he is comfortable with to turn himself in," Serpas said. Just like on Monday night, crowds gathered to protest the weekend police-involved shooting of what cops said was an armed 16-year-old boy. Police say two heavily armed men fatally shot a homeowner as he tried to protect his daughter during a home invasion. The incident happened late Tuesday night in Miami. The father, identified as Maurice Harris, 36, got into a struggle with the suspects when they tried to gain entry into his 11-year-old daughter's bedroom, police told FoxNews.com. Two teenagers have been charged with setting a Jack Russell terrier puppy on fire last month in Buffalo. After a 13-year-old autistic child wet his pants while riding on a Broward school bus, the bus attendant — whose job is to assist special-needs students — responded by choking the boy.
