Posted on 10/05/2013 10:17:26 AM PDT by xzins
On Thursday, Democrat tool Chad Henderson claimed to have enrolled in ObamaCare while most others' attempts failed. News organizations eagerly lapped up his story. Apparently, though, the story was "too good to check," because when someone finally did, it fell apart, discrediting Big Media, the Democrats, and ObamaCare.
Conservative and libertarian websites now are reporting the corrected story, and even some Big Media outlets reluctantly are reporting it. But almost as devastating to the left is Mr. Henderson's confession that he is being paid to post pro-Democrat propaganda on the internet:
Secondly, I work for an organization that pays me quarterly to posts [sic] the political stuff as "advocacy" (so it's kind of my job).
He claims to be employed as a "Volunteer at Organizing for America." Does that mean the president's OFA fundraising machine actually has to pay people to post Democrat talking points on other websites?
Does it also pay "trolls" to disrupt civil debate in the comment sections of conservative websites?

There was a thread on FR Just before the last election about this. Don’t have any idea how to find it.
How does it discredit them? It really defines them.
It’s certainly possible.
I’ve been accused of doing so myself.
What’s that going on there in the woods???
I agree. I’ve read something like this on FR before but I can’t find it.
After what happens every time someone supports personal freedom and really limiting government to its constitutional duties around here, I would have to say yes.
Strangely, many of the disrupters fighting the hardest claim to be social conservatives! They are either statists, or socialist conservatives.
Was it one of these, maybe?
My local paper (CourierPress, Evansville, Indiana) has had paid trolls for years. It’s obvious when they have names that include clues like “Kstreet” etc. This is smart, but evil, and it needs to be exposed, destroyed, and buried.
from one main media website I make comments on
it has become clear to me this past year that the
Obama WH has an entire army of media trolls
working every media form and forum possible
they can be detectable and often are
because their indovtrination and training
results in a common form, style and key-word-set
of political speach with the Obama WH policy
position clearly less than one-degree of separation
between its official language and theirs
Yep, they been around since Satan started to lie.
Check out this face book page!!! It is not going well for Obamacare!!!
RE “Does it also pay “trolls” to disrupt civil debate in the comment sections of conservative websites?”
Something about that phrase makes me think of the 2012 GOP primary here LOL
“We already know that Democrat activists illegally censor constitutionally protected free speech by pulling fire alarms when conservatives speak on college campuses; are they using similar stunts on the internet?”
One more time.
Only government(s) can CENSOR.
These little pukes can illegally disrupt the speeches, but they cannot censor.
Fake phoney fraud like the rest of the democrat party.
Well, well, well. What do we have here?
If you go to the Healthcare.gov Facebook page, you can tell who the paid trolls are. But they're out-numbered 1000-1.
The answer is a resounding Yes.
I know that Doug Hagmann and CanadaFreePress are persona non grata here, but his article in January outlined the entire concept of operations.
The "Cyber Warriors For Obama" project kicked off in January, with funding directly from the Odinga campaign coffers. They have social media mapped, infiltrated, and compromised.
OK for about the last week, I’ve caught heck for not buying into the FR “oppose Obamacare” thing because we do not have anything to offer in return.
How about, if Obamacare is off to a rough start, Republicans focus (FOCUS NOW) on preparing a competing, more freedom-oriented but just as economical healthcare plan.
Don’t talk about it.
GOP put it together, agree on it, and vote on it in the House.
Quickly. I mean a real reform however.
Have something real, cheap and significant to fight with.
This is just the beginning.
Wait until the “success” stories of the “navigators” start rolling out...
I want to see them put the GAO (who will tot up budgets for any Congressional proposal) to the question:
WHAT IF WE SCRAP OBAMACARE AND JUST ISSUE MINI-MED PLANS TO THE WELFARE SET. WHAT IS THE FINANCIAL IMPACT.
I bet the answer comes back: huge win.
“They generally don’t last long around here.”
Some do. They just pretend to be more conservative than the rest of us and hate everything GOP. That seems to work out for them.
We have one right now that uses the same screen name as he does at Dailey Kos. I notice that most of them only jump on the bash a Republican threads.
They’ll complain of the stigma of having insurance for welfare recipients. It’s how we got EBT cards...so nobody in line knows they’re on the dole.
Point him out then.
He let it slip when he said to me, "Your party..."
Spot on. This is SOP for the Left. Lying is an autonomic response for them.
Of being an Obamabot troll?
Yep, sure have.
Thanks very much, dearest xzins.
Right now, my primary concerns are Jim and our FReepathon, but I am still finding time to write emails of encouragement to Mr Speaker Boehner and to my Senators, to stand strong, and I urge y’all to do the same!
We always welcome new members, but our guards go up every time we’re lectured...lol.
I’ll tell you ALL right now, that my troll-radar will go bezerk whenever I see a newer member mention “birther crap” with regard to Ted Cruz.
God bless and keep you all
“Yep, sure have.”
You can’t really experience FR properly until you’ve been called a troll by somebody.
Some of them are pretty stupid. I guess they missed the seminar on how to blend in.
“Does it also pay “trolls” to disrupt civil debate in the comment sections of conservative websites? “
Many of us for years/over a decade have felt that paid trolls post on Free Republic to disrupt any civil debate.
They never blame the rats for the problems, it is all ways the evil dumb republicans.
Aren’t present day journalists also called paid Democrat Trolls
Fortunately, there are way too many veteran freepers for them to last too long here. They get boxed in and sniffed out pretty quickly. And remember, they also use a version of the "Diamond Technique" here and on other sites, where two or more trolls "agree" with each other and actually manage to shout down the unsuspecting.
Bottom line: Veteran freepers, do not be bashful about calling out the scumbags. And the "sign up" date, while being helpful, is not always a telltale sign. Some trolls signed up long, long ago.
I myself signed up on Democrat Underground when it first started just so nobody else there would take my handle. A few years later I went back to check it out (I think for Schadenfreude purposes), laughed at the big topic of the day (have no recollection what it was) and posted three posts before I got "tombstoned". One poster there said, "Wow. You signed up five years ago just to get thrown out now?" Of course, I didn't bother to hide my dsitain for those animals.
Here you go...
There’s one here, an August sign-up, who’s quick to defend homosexuals, and who’s been pushing his pro-queer candidate for governor of Virginia. Other Freepers have pegged him as a retread.....they’ve been here a lot longer than I, so I would defer to their opinion. Is he a paid troll? Don’t know....could be. The pro-queer gubernatorial candidate (Libertarian) could be a stalking horse for the Democrat.
There was even an awesome thread about it...
A couple of days ago I followed a link here to the Canadian version of FR - - it's called Free Dominion - - made one post and was immediately called out as a "troll"! It took me awhile to figure out what that was about and I finally figured it was because in my post I referred to a scumbag named Richard Warman as "that scumbag Warman". The poster got scared that Warman might sue Free Dominion (again) and figured my post would give him an opening!
They have real issues with free speech up there in Canada, eh?
“They have real issues with free speech up there in Canada, eh?”
They sure do. Can’t understand why they don’t just structure their affairs to incorporate outside of Canada, make use of offshore servers, and quit worrying about it.
That was basically what my post asked about. And I added something like, "out of reach of that scumbag Warman". That got some nervous Nellie calling me a "troll", lol.
[he’s in Zero’s “Organizing For America” — OFA]
Flashback: Busted liar Chad Henderson enjoyed accusing conservatives of lying
