A new Landmark/Rosetta Stone poll of the upcoming South Carolina senate primary, released last night, shows incumbent Senator Lindsey Graham to be facing a strong primary challenge in his bid for reelection next year. While Graham polls at 42 percent, that is well below the 50 percent needed to avoid a runoff. Should a runoff take place, he would run against the second place candidate, and if most of that other 58 percent unified behind the challenger, Graham could find himself being fired by Republican primary voters in his bid for another six-year term as South Carolina's Senior Senator.
Aside from that seat, there are 33 other senate seats in contention during this election cycle. With the Democrats finding themselves defending many of these seats, including some in so-called red Republican-leaning states, the GOP has an excellent opportunity to regain majority control of the U. S. Senate after the 2014 elections.

Sweeeeeet !!!!!
Not that it much matters with such luminairies like mitch mcconnell running the vichy gop caucus.
don’t tell the GOP,,they will screw it up!
Old Mitch might not be the majority leader if the Republicans retake the Senate. New blood, new members and a new program might be in place.
Ted Cruz for majority leader anyone?
He’d get a budget passed at the very least
you’re g-d right we will...
or else.
With or WITHOUT the help of the GOP party.
I think we need a TEA party march on GOP headquarters
Never underestimate the power of the stupid voting majority.
Never underestimate the power of the Democrats to steal an election.
Never underestimate the Reps ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
I have absolutely NO faith in our electoral process. None. The current government sponsors voter fraud at every turn, and that’s not about to stop.
And just what difference will it make?
The repubs will take over the Senate but their majority will not be enough to get much accomplished. The repubs really don’t deserve it either. Anyhow, this will be a slightly better situation than we have right now — slightly.
It’ll make a hell of a difference if they’re TEApublicans.
Yeah. The stupid Party will find a way to blow it.
Press: “And what do think about abortion and rape?”
And they better learn and parrot canned response and then STFU
However, Obama's last 2 years will be even more gridlock where he feels he will be empowered to do more EO's. And the Dem nominee for President will run against an "obstructionist Senate". Ugh, ugh, ugh.
Forget them.
We the People deserve it!
Unfortunately no poll can limn the results of the Democrat control of the electronic voting machine vote count.
and this will make a difference how? The government is the bureaucracy now. Congress and the courts have little influence. Republicans will still vigorously pursue the Security State and will do nothing that results in the loss of jobs of any bureaucrats. The difference will be only that Our Guys rather than Their Guys will be doing it to us.
My thoughts- what difference does it make if both parties produce the same results?
