“act outside the legal framework”??

Isn’t that what people used to call “committing crimes”?!

But Reps. Gary Ackerman, D-N.Y., Robert Melendez, D-N.J., Rep. Robert I Wexler, D-Fla., and Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, challenged Powellr about the administration's case, suggesting it may have been misleading from the outset. "Truth is the first casualty of war," Ackerman said. "I would contend truth was murdered before a shot is fired." "We are going into this war under false premises," Melendez said.

Liberals only follow laws the that promote their communist agenda.

2014 will tell the tale, if “We The People” don’t take control then, all is lost IMO, 2016 will be the final nail driven into the coffin, the burial will be shortly there after, and mourners will not be allowed to attend.

Time to Act Outside Legal Framework

Hmmm, nothing new for 0's regime.

Here's something else she said in this interview....

"If we take military action in this context, it will be a legitimate, necessary, and proportionate response to this large scale and indiscriminate use of chemical weapons by the regime," said Power. "Nobody has tried harder than this administration to work through the security council over two and a half years...."

Wait, whut?

So what else is new with the Obama administration? Rule by EO if they can’t get a law through Congress and if it is a law, ignore it in total or the parts they don’t like and exempt your political cronies. ‘Not legal’ would be business as usual. Until somebody finds the spine to make Obama pay for his lawlessness, we can expect more of the same. They didn’t stop him when it pertained to domestic issues so he’s expanding to the world stage ..... Putin/Chinese et all will NOT be amused. They have not had a spinectomy like Congress, nor are they impressed/intimidated by the “race card”. Black, white, yellow, red, or a mocha exterior matters not .... they look for competence and courage and Obama has neither.

I am against a military strike in Syria.

However, the U.S. is a sovereign nation. We do not answer to the U.N. So what if they condemn our actions as being illegal under international law?

International law is valid only if the international community is willing to enforce it. What is the international community gonna do about it if we break their law? Nothing, that’s what.

Are they going to cut off diplomatic relations with us? No. Are they going to cut off trade with us? No. Are they going to go up against the most powerful military in the world? They might like to think so.

they should have at least given her a TelePrompter - really looks lame reading from index cards.

really seems determined to flaunt everything and everyone........

well, Bubba set the precedent. He got away with it scot free...his pathetic tactic to try to push his fun & games off the front page.

and yet when 800,000 people in Rwanda were being slaughtered - one faction committing genocide on the other - bubba wouldn't even allow his ‘cleaning lady’ to call it ‘genocide’ - and did nothing. So why shouldn't this lawless gang get away with it - and they aren't just trying to cover up the gun running to the 'rebels' they hate America and are dedicated to the MB and Al Q

Only law is the law the communists network make and to hell with the Constitution. America is finished and after WWIII there will be a foreign Government running Washington. Then all the freeloaders on government taxes will lose their income. And rioters will be shot.

It’s not an illegal war; it’s an “undocumented military action.”

Notice to Samantha Powers: Ivan has many assets and personnel in the theater of [proposed] operations. What happens Samantha, if we sink a Russian ship, or kill Russian personnel at their new AA sites in Syria?

Think about it, or not. No matter, Putin ain't playing no games.

Sheesh, we've either got amateur hour in the White Hut, or you people just don't understand geopolitical strategies (cultures, alliances, etc.). Then again, you egg heads (who have never worked in the private sector), might actually be planning WWIII.

Fasten your seat belts gang, its going to be a very bumpy ride...

If there’s any comfort in this it’s that I get to mock my liberal friends for calling Bush a reckless cowboy. “Gosh, things sure were better when we had a President who respected the UN and international law” will make some veins pop around here...
