Democrats: Why Should Obama Have to Deal with an Illegitimate GOP Congress?

RUSH: Now, we opened yesterday talking about Syria, and I'm not gonna spend much more time on it. I do want to share with you a fascinating quote. To me, this is really fascinating. It's not surprising, but to have it said is momentous. I didn't see this on TV. I didn't have the TV on last night. I was reading John Fund today at National Review Online, and the title of his piece is, "The World Turned Upside Down, Indeed." His point here is about Obama and the Democrats ignoring Congress, in whatever they do with Syria.

Of course, it points out the obvious hypocrisy.

Back in 2002 and 2003, the Democrats were demanding that Bush go through Congress, demanding that Bush go through the United Nations, demanding that there be a coalition.

(interruption) Oh; is that right? Obama is expected to speak at three o'clock, is that right? (interruption) Well, what a strange coincidence. Holy cow! Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at three o'clock this afternoon. What happens at three o'clock, folks? This program ends. Somebody's not speaking at three o'clock, and that would be me. Unbelievable. I thought that Obama would like kick off at one o'clock or something like that. But, no, Obama's at three o'clock.

How about that, folks?

Many people wonder what it's like to be me. (chuckling)

Anyway, John Fund at National Review writes about all the hypocrisy going on. Of course, everybody says, "There's no hypocrisy. Don't worry about that. That was then; this is now. Obama didn't know what he was doing, didn't know the way of the world back then. But now he does, Rush! Now he's learned. Now it's serious. When he was criticizing Bush, Obama didn't know how the world worked.

"He didn't know the Middle East was a bunch of bad guys. He didn't know that Al-Qaeda was a bunch of bad guys. He didn't know all these various actors, groups, countries and their hatred for the US. You don't understand it, Rush." Right. Okay. Fund says he appeared last night with Lou Dobbs, Fox Business Network. Also on the show was Mary Anne Marsh. Mary Anne Marsh is from Boston. She's "a Democratic consultant whose clients have included the late Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, our current secretary of state."

She showed up, as every Democrat on every cable TV show does, "Armed with the latest Democratic talking points, she dismissed any need for Obama to consult with what she dismissed as 'a special Congress.' Here's her full quote: "There is a special Congress that we’re dealing with right now that has the lowest popularity rating in history and Republicans who overwhelmingly would oppose taking any action. The president of the United States cannot be handcuffed by the same Republicans that are holding the rest of the country hostage on every other issue. That is wrong."

So what she was saying is (translated), "Well, the reason Obama doesn't go to Congress is because the Republicans run it, and the Republicans are illegitimate. The Republicans, nobody should have to deal with them.

I mean this is the same bunch of Republicans that are holding the rest of the country hostage on every other issue, like Obamacare. I mean, why should the president have to deal with Congress?

"The Constitution doesn't matter. The Republicans have become so illegitimate that the president of the United States and the Democrat Party are almost required to ignore them because they're Republicans. But the Republicans running the House of Representatives, the Republicans controlling it delegitimizes the Congress. The Republicans dominating the House of Representatives means that the House of Representatives is not legit. It's unjust."

What this means is that the attitude of the Democrat Party is that wherever there are Republicans (it's really simplistic here), they are so bad, they are so discriminatory, they are so racist, they're so bigoted, they're just such reprobates that we can't afford to let them have any say whatsoever in what's happening. Now, I tell you why this is a big deal to me. I know it's a talking point, but they believe this stuff, and the Republicans in Congress had better wake up and understand.

The Republican leadership is doing everything it can to forge friendships with these people. The Republican leadership is doing everything it can to agree with the Democrats on everything the Democrats want, and look what it's getting them! This is some of the most profound disrespect I have ever seen. This is worse than the way the Republicans were treated and viewed when Bob Michel was the House Republican leader in the wilderness years, the 40 years that the Democrats controlled the House prior to 1994.

She said, "There is a special Congress that we’re dealing with right now that has the lowest popularity rating in history and Republicans who overwhelmingly would oppose taking any action." We should we go to them? The Republicans disagree with us! Why should we go to them? We're gonna do what we want to do! We don't want to deal with people that can stop us. The Constitution doesn't matter, Lou. We want to do what we want to do! We're gonna do what we're gonna do, and the Republicans would stop us.

Well, why are we gonna put up with it with them!

And then unstated is: What are they gonna do about it?

And the answer is: Come out even more so in favor of amnesty.

So every effort the Republicans make to be liked, every effort they make to be supportive of what the Democrats want, they're looked at as insects. They're no different than an anthill to be avoided when you're walking down the sidewalk. In fact, it's not an anthill. It's a pile of dog manure. The Democrats are walking down the street, there's a pile of dog manure, and it's the Republicans. Why do we want to go through that? We'll just sidestep it to get where we're going!

Come on, Lou. She says, "There is a special Congress that we’re dealing with right now that has the lowest popularity rating in history and Republicans who overwhelmingly would oppose," what we want to do. "The president of the United States cannot be handcuffed by the same Republicans that are holding the rest of the country hostage on every other issue," and she says it with impunity. She says it on Fox without any fear that the audience is gonna understand and reject it.

She's basically saying: "When we want to do what we want to do, there may as well not be a Congress. We don't have to deal with 'em."

Under the Constitution, Congress’s power is superior to that of the President. In the system established by the Constitution, Congress sets policy, not the President. The President’s Constitutional role is to put into execution (implement) the policies Congress gives him.

Just trying to set the precedent for when Obama assumes dictatorial power because he can no longer work with the evil, illegitimate Christian white male Republican Congress

Basically the democrats are now projecting the Constitution and the entire DC gang and our government structure as illegitimate. That will definitely make the worthless bonehead cry.

You know the “funny” thing about all this?

When it all explodes in their faces, the Democrats and the media will find a way to blame the Republicans.

I have had it with the elite Republicans. You can not be nice to the left. They are so convinced they are correct on everything that to question them makes you evil. Not bad, not misinformed, but evil. By being evil they feel they can do anything to destroy those that oppose them.

We are seeing the end game of one party rule. Without any checks and balance, the ones in power feel they can do anything they want. Well that is not true. They are about to discover that there are consequences for being ignorant on how the world works.

“the democrats are now projecting the Constitution and the entire DC gang and our government structure as illegitimate.”

Now the Dems are calling the Constitution illegitimate? Actually, it was only about a year into Obama’s first term that he began to notice this thing he apparently had never heard of, the Constitution, kept getting in the way of his doing many of the things that he “wanted to do for the American people”. He came up with the brilliant suggestion that the Constitution should be treated as only a set of guidelines, rather than mandatory provisions. Obama’s ignorance may be shocking, but his frustration is good news.

That is fantasy this is reality:

From Reichstag Fire to Enablng Act

This is a good video except for the part of the centre party with the support of the Catholic church voting in the Enabling act. The Church was physically being threatened with 5000 ministers executed many of those killed before this act was forced on them.

Also note how the Nazi's 'happened to find' a communist party leader at the Reichstag at the time of the fire then proceeded to round up all communist. Remember the socialists and communists were like two peas in a pod up until this time.

“The same question can be asked: Why should the GOP have to deal with an Illegitimate President?”

It’s all for show. The gop and ‘rat wings of the uniparty are in almost perfect agreement on substantive matters. Including this one. The rhetoric is a little different, but the end results are the same.

All this huff and puff about “not consulting congress” is a bunch of bull. The uniparty has already made it’s decision and is going to do what it’s going to do. They’re just not bothering to go through the motions of debating it this time.

Thanks Kaslin. The Demagogic Party has to be purged from our political system — unless of course it wants to do a better job of disciplining the single party state advocates in their midst.

Just wait until there is a Repub Prez and Democrat run Congress (as scary as that is to think). This Dem nutcase will be singing exactly the opposite tune.

Remember, we are at war with Eastasia. We have always been at war with Eastasia.
