That's what some defeated House candidates from 2012 are hoping, at least.
Several failed candidates who ran strong campaigns, but fell just short last year, are back for a rematch this election cycle.
Whether they can use lessons learned in their losing campaign to change next year's results will go a long way in determining which party gains seats in the House.

Please, please register to vote in Arizona. Texas appears to be safely conservative. However, too many of Arizona’s Republicans are NOT conservative in a crisis. They talk one way and then sell out to big business. Five of nine AZ US Representatives are Democrat (in this state) We really need help.
Yes McCain is an angry, arrogant person. I doubt that he would win again. And yes again Brewer has jumped the shark.
Cornyn is a joke. You’d think he was imported from the establishment over in Tennessee. He’s just as weak as Alexander and Corker.
Cornyn needs to be flushed. Period.
Correct! Even if my guy votes against it, but it passes, I’m staying home and the GOP can go to hell!
I don’t really understand the ‘cheap labor’ argument. As soon as they’re legal, the cost will go up to employers.
Who’s your guy?
Bennet from Colorado. Like Flake, you look at the list and wonder what he is doing there.
Anyone on the horizon who could dethrone this Cornyn clown? I would tentatively suggest the decisive House member in the 1st district.
He’s another rat troll, head full of air.
Flake seems to be angling to become McLame’s new butt-buddy if Graham gets ousted. Its like a bizzare love triangle.
He would do in a pinch.
Yeah, we can’t have solid prolifers. They embarrass the party.
Yet I think you’d find most people name Karl Rove when it comes to embarrassments.
We need to stick by the folks our side rather then just reinforcing Rove’s ‘analysis’.
Romney was a piss-poor candidate. That’s all there was to it. He had negative coattails.
Maybe because that’s not his name. But perhaps someone with his conservative voting record will try for that seat again.
Mia Love is the one I reserve my sympathy for because she came within a few hundred votes of winning and the Libertarian candidate siphoned off more than three times that many.
What is it with the Libertarian arsonists that they have to run a candidate even when the GOP runs a solid conservative that is with them on 95% of what they believe. Is legalized pot that important?
It matters even when the pubs piss us off. We need to hold the house and add to the Senate pubs.
I might have to break my pledge and support a Republican. Barber is a liberal d*ck. He has got to go.
Yeah, Mourdock should have learned the lesson from Akin, but his blunder wasn’t as bad as what Akin said. It was blown out of proportion by the lib media. His point was that even the children of rape were God’s children, which is actually a very heartfelt statement.
Mourdock also would have been a good senator, whereas Akin was likely to join the big spenders crowd based on his House record.
A libertarian candidate lost the seat in Montana against Tester, I know our candidate there was a Rove pick, but he should have won, and Tester helped prop up the libertarian to help himself over the finish line.
We also had a libertarian against Klobuchar in Minnesota who got his ass kicked.
LOL, I could have written that post. I emailed both Cornyn and Pete Olson. Olson sent the usual 'i would never support such a bill' reply; but the point I was making to him is that he should be up front opposing it like Cruz in the senate. RINO Cornyn has not replied yet. Now that so many republicans are revealing themselves to be Judases, my clothespin days are over.
Texas is not necessarily as conservative as it appears. The Democrats formed a group in our small local community and have been busy training their members in voter registration and have been block walking and knocking on doors every Saturday and Sunday for the last two months. Their grass roots activities and presence put ours to shame.
I serve on one of the local Republican boards until the end of December so must retain my current voter status until then. Will check it out again in December. My entire family will register to vote next year in whichever state it appears it can make the most impact.
Guess we could do like a lot of people and register in both states but we’re the wrong color and nationality. LOL.
