Behold Damascus, the smoldering heap.

Most wars are started by arrogance, stupidity and incompetence, qualities our Dear Leader has in World Class abundance, so starting a World War is well within his capabilities.

No. The Bible is very clear about such a conflict starting and ending at Jerusalem. Damascus is not the “burdensome stone” that burdens all people.

The “rebels” are working for Western financial oligarchy, the same people who effectively run the United States.
Same rebels who took Egypt and Libya.
The financial oligarchy has decided to boot out Assad and place a puppet over the Syrian people.
This is NOT an indigenous war.
What it really proves, since the rebels are Al-Qada, is that CIA actually manages Al-Qada.

Paul was from Damascus in the south of Syria
He said “y’all” and stuff like that...

.... Curious conundrum we are facing .... The enemy of our enemy is also a sworn enemy of ours!!! So we are about to fund with billions of bucks a friend of the enemy that has also sworn to destroy us and will probably seek to do so with the money we are giving them to fight the enemy who has also sworn to destroy us.
... So what the heck good could possibly come of this? And how the heck is this supposed to be money well spent? Geeze .... I need an aspirin.... I think my heads about to explode.

Not for sure if it could ignite A world war but I’m pretty sure Damascus is going to get destroyed, according to this one author I’ve read.

I think you have the roles of the CIA and al-Qa’eda reversed, in this instance.

Or more likely in my mind it is the other way around, in the last few years, the CIA has become under new management, and the new boss -not like the old boss
