Iran persuaded Syrian President Bashar Assad to allow Hezbollah to open "a new front" from which to attack Israel in the Golan Heights, Israel Radio reported Wednesday citing a report by the pan-Arab newspaper Al-Hayat.
According to the report, an Iranian source told the newspaper that Tehran is determined to prevent the fall of Assad's regime in Damascus, because the Syrian president has been convinced to open the Golan to all Arabs and Muslim wanting to fight Israel.

Sounds like a good way for Israel to kill a lot of enemies and not be blamed for it.
i don’t think they’ll try this, there aren’t enough women and children to hide behind in the G-H
Prayers that our heavenly Father will put his protection angels around Israel and that no weapon formed against thee (Israel) will prosper
This will be a death sentence for Assad.
I sense God has sent His protecting angels already to surround Israel.

Obviously, Obama’s not a foreign policy genius. Allowing Israel to fight Assad. That messes everything up since even the Muslim Brotherhood would rather fight Israel than Assad. Now Assad becomes the new jihad hero. Was this McCain’s brilliant idea?
Syrian rebels seized the four Filipino peacekeepers at an observation post in the Golan Heights on Tuesday, two months after 21 Filipino soldiers were abducted by the same group and held for four days.
Heard it said recently: Never declare war against a superior adversary that can fly combat aircraft at will over your presidential palace.
The hell with arming the al Queda linked rebels, just get out of Israel’s way.
One of my friends from Kiryat Arba fought in the Yom Kipur war. Syria initially recaptured the Golan, and then Israel took it back and also the higher Syrian Golan peak. His job, together with his unit, was to hold onto that higher peak. He said that the cold on that peak was much more formidable than anything the Syrians could throw at them. It was all that they could do to avoid getting snowed in or freezing to death. Hizbollah wants to launch missiles from there? This oughta be interesting. Best hurry up. “Winter is coming.”
Just giggle-—that’s all there is to do. This basic story has made the news in several different ways in recent weeks. The first thing that’s BS is that Syria hasn’t owned the Golan heights since 1973. And they get their teeth kicked in every time they try to argue about it. Telling the Hezzies to go ahead and attack Israel from there is a serious case of “you go first “. Basher is starting to sound like Kadaffy and Saddam and Adolph in their last high moments——when they were handing out orders to troops who weren’t there. He does have a “Damascus Dougie” kind of guy but Dougie can’t figure out a way to get anyway near the air time that Bagdad Bob did.
