The people of Germany decided to make that compromise when they voted for the Nazi party. How did that work out?
It’s just possible that this child chose to write his with a crayon without concluding that the teacher had all children write it with a crayon.
Just a thought...
If the teacher did instruct them to use crayon, I would bet it was for a reason. Children like to use crayons. They can feel like they’re being somewhat creative, with colors, and can write larger than with a pen or pencil. So would enjoy the task more and this would increase the propagandist’s impact on them...
"I am willing to give up some of my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure." ... Harvey's son attends Cedar Hills Elementary in Jacksonville, Fla. Back in January, a local attorney came in to teach the students about the Bill of Rights. But after the attorney left, fourth-grade teacher Cheryl Sabb dictated the sentence to part of the class and had them copy it down, he said. The teacher and the lawyer need to be sued, or if there are no grounds, the heads switched on the bodies.
Has this been asked yet - I don’t want to burn what I’m cooking - is homeschool defined as ONE home or could 20 or
so like-minded neighbord rent a house among them and make a school out of that? Do cities, states or Feds define ‘homeschool’?
Compulsory government schooling was a left wing invention. Think about it. Didn’t we just criticize the “it takes a village” gal on MSLSD?
It’s one of the ten goals listed on the Communist Manifesto.
It is 100 years too late to be furious.
Yes, I know about Wilson. Egg head college Prof Progressive Traitor.
Correcto.
Have no clue who she is, but it is obvious she is a Leftie Idiot who deserves to be fired.
Agree in part, but have experience says other reasons as well.
Sister is an elementary schoolteacher as is a good friend’s wife. Both share similar outstanding traits. Both are very sweet, liberal ditzes.
I do wonder if that father would be willing to give up some of his life’s LUXURIES to pull his kid out of those skills.
Somehow I doubt it.
Well, I should’ve said “for the most part.” No doubt there are some good teachers, but the leftist government worker union types have generally taken over and they control the agenda.
Yep, it is pretty hard to get my head around all this crap lately.
But I know insanity when I see it.
I don’t know the answer to that, but I do know the answer if it was my grandson. He would be OUT of that place.
Grandma concurs.
A fourth-grader writing in crayon? ....Sure. They can’t read or write at the end of twelve years, so what’s the surprise? This is where your trillions of dollars in the education system go. At least the kid can use a crayon after four years (probably more since he may have been in pre-school, Head Start, etc.) all at the expense of the taxpayer, not the family.
“Grandma concurs.”
Thanks...I get some pushback from people that don’t think they can afford to pull their kids out of public schools.
Obviously, I don’t know everyones’ details, but I suspect that most people have more options that they’re willing to admit...since those options often involve a lifestyle step-down.
Oh yea, that’s a keeper.
Just last night I rewatched “High Plains Drifter”.
The storyline mirrors your quote with townfolk who hire “troubleshooters” to guard their mining enterprise. Only the guards become the wolves instead of the sheepdog and so the townfolk conspire to rid themselves of them.
Their replacements are just as bad and get themselves killed by The Stranger. Now defenseless against the first group, they do what they do best: hire a bad guy to protect them from bad guys.
Hilarity ensues...
If it took moving to VA and homeschooling my grandson to prevent his indoctrination, I’d do it.
I would also move him here with us if necessary.
bump
Public elementary school teachers in my remote, sparsely populated area receive over $40,000 per year and have effective immunity against being prosecuted for at least some crimes.
