I'm sure we've all seen by now the "photo op" of President Obama shooting skeet. If he's shooting skeet then I'm Daffy Duck.
Now, what's wrong with the president's picture? First the weapon is nearly level to the ground. Can't be skeet shooting, nor likely trap either. Second, it is evident that the President has never shot a shotgun before as his stance is leaning slightly backward. Look at the position of his torso to his legs. Skeet or trap shooters never do this. They lean slightly forward like a boxer in the ring. Third, he doesn't know or was never taught that the butt of the weapon must fit to his shoulder. He's holding the weapon with a gap between his shoulder and the top of the butt. Sure you can fire it that way, but expect lots of pain if not bruising later.

The first thing I thought when I saw the smoke was at it was a port. One of my shotguns has these ports too. I don’t know much about over-unders but do they port the bottom barrel too?
Opps
On the far “right” side at the corner skeet station is dead end road, also serves as turnaround (cul-de-sac)
What makes us so sure this is Camp David (which would have no leaves this time of year)?
Not an tree expert, but where else could this have been taken with that kind of background (other than green screen, of course).
I’m not good at posting Photoshopped stuff, but perhaps someone can throw one together with The World’s Most Interesting Man saying something to the effect of: “I never shoot guns. But when I don’t, I Photoshop. Stay pathetic, my friend.”
Or the Ancient Alien guy photo with a pithy quote.
Could be a slight right-to-left swing causing the "sideways" appearance with that barrel port. As for the horizontal barrel, this might've been a clay target thrower set up more like in sporting clays, simulating flushed game heading away, rather than crossing. Barry looks like a kid learning to hit clays tossed with a hand-held thrower.
Not a photoshop, too indictable by the techies. It’s a photo-op. Putting aside Preezy Cakeboy is shooting level (oh, he let’s the clay pigeons finish their arc and fall to the ground before shooting to make it more difficult) , he’s not wearing a vest with ammo. Unless “shooting skeet” is a one shot thing, he either would have a vest on (like the pic of softballer Big Sis) or a table with a box of shells to reload. Doesn’t look like the range, either. This is pure effin Barbara Streisand. What a bunch of corrupt, bath-housing, wussy shirt lifting Julie Boys this Admin is. Just like their fawning presstitutes. Neither have a clue as to the realities of this sport or anything American.
That picture is so fake it looks like the Iran missle launch photos.
True, but how many shotguns have you ever seen that were only ported on one side? And THAT much smoke?
The smoke isn’t unusual. If you look at the bigger picture on Flickr, you can see it is ported on both sides and you can also see some smoke from the camera facing side too. It is kind of deceptive because of the color of the barrel and the smoke is darker right when it leaves.
Yup. Can’t get on the sight line otherwise.
One guy at the range was SO cheap, I think he reloaded his shell with 1/2 horsechit and turkey feathers, and even his didn't have that much smoke. Sorry, I don't buy it.
Maybe the skeet towers were to far from the house so he used the concrete walk at the top right. That would explain the low pose. The trap clays were hitting the ground and rolling? lol. He was probably shooting trap from the side.
Like a birth certificate?
