ISLAM IS A TYRANICAL SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT...

IT IS NOT A RELIGION...

IT IS A SLAVE-TRAFFICKING MOON-WORSHIPPING BLOODTHIRSTY CULT...

AND IT IS A WOMAN-HATING, PEDERAST SOCIETY!...

(there, got it out of my system)

Eventually the camel's back will give way to the straw. And Obama is piling it on fast and heavy.

Retired USAF crewdog and proud member of the military industrial complex. Military service has given me more than I was ever asked to give.

Fan of Freerepublic since I stumbled across it in 1997 (I think, maybe '98). It is my primary source of breaking news and my antidote for the mainstream media.

Why didn’t I become a member sooner? Not sure, but someone did always seem to post what I was thinking.

Why join now? This outcome of the 2008 election poses the greatest threat to free speech since the country’s founding. If I am to have a voice it will need to be in the new media - with the liberals essentially owning the three branches of government, I have no advocate in Washington (with any power).

This became abundantly clear when the parental controls firewall on my computer blocked Freerepublic because it was classifed as “hate” and YET, it allowed democratic underground.

QUOTE:

"I see an innumerable crowd of like and equal men who revolve on themselves without repose, procuring the small and vulgar pleasures with which they fill their souls. Over these is elevated an immense, tutelary power, which takes sole charge of assuring their enjoyment and of watching over their fate. It is absolute, attentive to detail, regular, provident, and gentle. It would resemble the paternal power if, like that power, it had as its object to prepare men for manhood, but it seeks, to the contrary, to keep them irrevocably fixed in childhood … it provides for their security, foresees and supplies their needs, guides them in their principal affairs… The sovereign extends its arms about the society as a whole; it covers its surface with a network of petty regulations—complicated, minute, and uniform—through which even the most original minds and the most vigorous souls know not how to make their way… it does not break wills; it softens them, bends them, and directs them; rarely does it force one to act, but it constantly opposes itself to one’s acting on one’s own … it does not tyrannize, it gets in the way: it curtails, it enervates, it extinguishes, it stupefies, and finally reduces each nation to being nothing more than a herd of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd."

Comments that I am particularly proud of:

OK Libs, I need this explained to me one more time... The United States of America needs to apologize for perceived injustices to a “Religion”* that practices slavery, feminine mutilation, child exploitation and molestation, human trafficking, piracy as well as sponsoring and championing the extermination of a race of people; not to mention forced marriages, repression of women, censorship of dissenting speech and outlawing of other religious faiths. *read “cult of death”

In response to BHO's statement in Cairo "I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear...." Mr. Hussein, what negative stereotypes? I have read what Muslims have said, and have seen what they have done and I am pretty sure that the opinion that I have formed is exactly what they want me think about them. With one exception: I am not scared of them. Your administration, however, does make me fearful for the future of my country.

I don't care if this sounds cold hearted. To all those who live in hurricane zones, flood plains, beach-front property, mudslide prone cliffs, a wild fire areas: I am not an insurance company! Call State Farm or GEICO. I am not a rescue agency! Plan for your own evacuation. Stop putting our brave first responders in jeopardy for your laziness. Don't ask me to bail out your corrupt politicians! You voted for them, you are stuck with them. I am not here to preserve your regional culture and historic districts! You want to live there, you take care of your interests. Oh, and clean up after yourselves!

I WISH the GOP was the party of “NO!” Instead they are the party of “we intend to express our concerns to the Democrat leadership and the White House in the strongest terms.”

My 2 cents regarding the killing of George Tiller: A person broke the law. He was apparently caught and will be punished, and he knew this when he set out. I suspect he intended to surrender on the spot, but got scared. (He did not snipe from a hill or wear a disguise). He decided that losing his freedom (or his life) to stop Tiller was a price he was willing to pay. Tiller was the most vile and vicious abortionists that I have ever heard of, and I am unable to find any sympathy for him or those who loved him. The problem here is that liberal bigots will paint pro-lifers with a broad brush and it will now essentially be illegal to hold pro-life views or own weapons. They are quick to excuse the terrorist Muslims for their atrocities (saying it was the actions of America that drove them to it) and yet, they will send this guy to GITMO for water-boarding and execution (without the noting the real atrocities that Tiller has committed that drove this person to his act). PRO-LIFE GROUPS DO NOT plan violence against anyone, and the most activist that they get is laying down in prayer, blocking the door to a clinic (which even they recognize is a largely futile effort and yet are willing to go to jail for it).

The Imbecile of the United States of America (IOTUS) can say anything, however nonsensical or dangerous, and continue to get his radical agenda rubber-stamped and praised.

Re: Newt Gingrich - The fact that Newt can so easily articulate both sides of virtually any issue tells me he doesn't really stand for anything. The casting couch with Pelosi was the last draw for me. I have lost count of how many PACs he has a vested interest in. I am sure draws a salary from most of them. His business is his name. More power to him in that regard, particularly if it results in funding the conservative cause, but to me he seems more political opportunist than a conservative leader. Bottom line, “and let's be honest here” (his favorite line): I don't trust him.

From "Texas woman gives birth to twins--from different fathers":How about this when their 4th grade class celebrates their birthday. Teacher: Kids, did you know your classmates Jordan and Justin are famous! They are twins but have different daddys. Their mommy, say hi to Ms. Washington (HI MS. WASHINGINTON!), was living with Mr. Harrison (say hi to Mr. Harrison (HI MR. HARRISON!) and also shared her affection with Mr., well let's just call him Mr. Smith (HI MR. SMITH!) - AND GUESS WHAT?! Mother Nature blessed her with two babies! And each baby has a different daddy. Isn't that wonderful? Jordan and Justin, you must feel very special! - Mrs. Jackson? - Yes, Lakisha. Was Ms. Washington married to Mr. Harrison or Mr. Smith? - No dear, they are not as fortunate as your parents. - Oh, my mommy says that kids who's parents aren't married are bastards, mommies that have sex with many men are hoe's, and men who have sex with many women are dogs. - Lakisha! We do not judge people in this classroom! Your mommy is a bigot and you are and evil little girl! Get out of my classroom!

Re: Obama's ND speech - I want to see Bishops join the protesters. But I know my hope is misplaced. I bet you would see a bishop or two show up at an pro-criminal alien “immigration” protest. Am I getting jaded and callous? Probably. I expect Church leaders to lead. I don't want to hear any more diplomatic talk from Bishops. I have seen too many “Pay, Pray, and Obey” Bishops and Priests. I thought as part of their vocation they were to forego the comforts of this world for the sake of the souls of their flock. Besides, why is it so risky for them to stand on a side walk and denounce what ND is doing? 80 or 90 Bishops writing a letter is OK but still a weak gesture. And where are the rest of them? A pointed question to each of those Bishops: Why won't you sign and denounce ND? _
