According to a background briefer provided by the White House, President Barack Obama is asking doctors to help deal with guns. Here's the relevant passage:
PRESERVE THE RIGHTS OF HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS TO PROTECT THEIR PATIENTS AND COMMUNITIES FROM GUN VIOLENCE: We should never ask doctors and other health care providers to turn a blind eye to the risks posed by guns in the wrong hands.
Clarify that no federal law prevents health care providers from warning law enforcement authorities about threats of violence: Doctors and other mental health professionals play an important role in protecting the safety of their patients and the broader community by reporting direct and credible threats of violence to the authorities. But there is public confusion about whether federal law prohibits such reports about threats of violence. The Department of Health and Human Services is issuing a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits these reports in any way.

Does anyone know if OBayMeCare has boxcars and wooden soap in it or a list of the camps that the physicians will remand one to? Perhaps Pelosi and Reid have a list in their office files, ya think?
So when your doctor asks you “What do you think is causing your migraines?”
DO NOT SAY: “Every time I hear Obama open his yapper I get a sharp pain behind my eyes”
The doctor will help take away your guns and probably recommend a “Cranium-ectomy” (head amputation) for you...
Here is what you say instead: “Every time I happen to be by a radio and the Rush Limbaugh Show is playing on it I get a sever headache” (referring to when Rush is playing a Obama sound clip on the show not Rush himself, though you want the libbie doctor to think you are a “kindred liberal spirit” )
Either that or just shrug when they ask you....
Doctors are now part of the Gestapo, the Doc-Stapo!
Doc-Stapo.... Use it, it is the new term of Obamunism.
At least this guy (in the movie) figured out he was wrong about what he was doing, and that the guy he was monitoring was living a better life than he was.
Tell them no.
Step 1: meet with your lawyer and set up a gun trust (either title 1 or title 2 NFA)
2: put all of your firearms on a schedule A or B within the trust.
3: When doc or any agent of the state ask if you own guns, legally and ethically you can say, "My wife and I do not personally own firearms". ( because the property is a trust asset)
My standard answer will be:
Doctor: Do you have any guns in your house?
Me: Oh NO!! Guns are bad.
(Screw them)
“I don’t discuss my personal security requirements with anyone but my family.”
And then promptly pull out a checklist and begin asking the doctor about his guns. Keep asking the questions until you see the light click on on their faces. Tell them you as a citizen of America need to make thoroughly certain that they, as a doctor, are in no position to “do no harm” to anyone, ever, as a doctor, or a person. Do not back down.
Just wait till he offers rewards for neighbors turning in neighbors.
DO NOT PUT IT PAST THEM! WE ARE DEALING WITH A TYRANT!
LOL! Your reply was awesome and too funny!!!
I dont discuss my personal security requirements with anyone but my family.
That is really good! As is the rest of your recommendation.

This lists 5 provisions prohibiting doctors asking for information about guns ...
Well, for security reasons, why would you discuss your personal security requirements with anyone else? Seriously. You’re a marine, I am sure you are aware loose lips, and all that.
But I seriously think we need to flip the discussion intimately to the doctor’s guns. And not let up. Because that’s the only way it might get through to them how they are coming off to everyone else. And maybe they’ll just shut up about it, if they were even inclined to ask in the first place.
“...but I am seeing complaints from Doctors that they are being coerced out of private practice ...”
Maybe so, but there’s always a way. About time we started actively and aggressively finding a way around EVERYTHING.
Find it, act on it, do it, and help others to do so as well.
Yeh- just say no...
Joke
I went to the doc- he asked if I drank- I said no- we laughed...
Excellent points!
Excellent points!
No, it pertained to them seeking to find out if you were molesting her or beating her or some other abuse.
They will also have the NEA get teachers to ask children if there are guns in the house.
This is so stupid. All you have to say is NOYB (None of your business).
Or, you can take the 5th Amendment, or give your name, serial number and date of birth, if you prefer.
These clowns can always ask, but that doesn't mean that we have to answer!
