(CNSNews.com) - Conservative leaders don't like what they're hearing from House Speaker John Boehner, the man in the middle of fiscal cliff negotiations.
One day after Boehner mentioned an $800-billion tax hike -- half the amount President Obama is seeking -- conservative activist L. Brent Bozell III said the Republican Party is no longer the party of limited government, limited spending and limited taxes:
"It is now officially exactly right behind the Democrats -- on everything," Bozell said. "It is time for conservatives to start looking for a new home. There's precious little left for us here."
Bozell said it's no coincidence that just before releasing his proposal, Boehner orchestrated a purge of conservatives from key positions of power in the Republican Conference.

the few conservatives left in the House need to vote against Boehner for Speaker
Even Rip Van Winkle had to finally wake up after a long spell.
Yes. And that graph indicates that the fight for conservatives on the national level is already over. This is a one man/woman/corpse, one vote system and so long as the cities are dominant population-wise....which they will be for the foreseeable future...it’s a lost battle.
The good news is that there are huge swaths of area where our side is dominant. I view this talk about the gop to be worse than useless as it diverts attention from the fact that we already have a large portion of the land area under our sphere of influence.
The Divorce is coming. How that salts out and when it happens is orders of magnitude more important to us than which set of cowards and knuckleheads gets to run the gop.
Allen West, Mark Levin, Newt Gingrich to name a few, though I do not believe those men are angry per se, I’ll go with passionate.
We call ourselves The T.E.A. Party!
Yup! So Right.
Please do not forget the right women either.
Just a reminder.
“So what is the difference??”
There is one, but it’s not worth worrying about. The gop is a failed political party and the sooner it’s buried and forgotten, the better off we are.
I think a lot of this is intended to divert attention.
Not entirely true. Look at the people that really did have the will: Ron Paul supporters.
There were several bad calls WRT the primaries that benefited Romney at the expense of Paul; the one that sticks out in my mind is the one where they rules-lawyered their right to delegates (a fair win) and the rules were retroactively changed so that Romney got their delegates. (Add that to the teleprompter-incident at the RNC which accepted a rule-change forcing voters in the electoral college to vote for the assigned candidate and it really does indicate a conspiracy.)
better name—The Liberty Party—our symbol a bell ringing —animal: An American Bison or Rattlesnake. Motto: “Ring out Liberty though out the land.”
Then we get a new party and the ron paul type will go against the conservative. With conservatives Israel is in and drugs are out!

Maybe we can rid ourselves of crybaby Boehner in time for fiscal cliff?
infiltrate the D party like the commies did
And here I thought Conservatives were for Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law. The War on Drugs [WOD] is an evil contraconstitutional policy which has legally damaged liberty like no other policy I can think of, it is harmful to most of the guarantees of the Bill of Rights.
I wouldn’t count on the divorce happening any time soon, if it actually does happen. People in this country are notoriously intransigent.
In the mean time, we should recognize that the Republican Party is essentially incapable of winning on a national level and focus on our regional dominance, like you said. Someone - and I don’t know who - should start a conservative third party and get ready to roll with local candidates (and perhaps select House races on the national level, I.E. Alan West) in 2014.
I wish someone would step up to the task. I wish we had a figurehead. I wish people like GOPe media machine hadn’t produced so many Stockholm syndrome conservatives.
And here I thought Conservatives were for Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law.
Conservatives are against the enemy within but not the RP crowd. We have no rule of law now - you lost it all now. SO MUCH for your priorities!
THANK YOU for posting this list. Maybe (and i’m not gonna hold my breath) it will wake up some freepers to the statist tactics of the WOD... I’m constantly shocked at the sheer number of statists here that claim to be conservatives but willingly piss on the constitution because it fits their worldview.
Real freedom means other people get to do things that you may not like. Just as you get to do things that others may not like.
Excuse me, but I was illustrating how the WOD is neither constitutional, nor lawful, nor just... I was not advocating a person, or even a party, but addressing you about that which you said: that conservatives are anti-drug (pro-WOD).
As for Israel, consider this: we have no money. We shouldn't be giving foreign aid to ANYONE, we simply don't have money.
We shouldn't be sticking our dicks into every other country's business, we need to fix what's wrong with our country first.
Let God take care of Israel, not only can He can do it without our 'help', but He says something about the man that fails to provide for his own family being worse than an unbeliever -- does not this also apply to governments?
Our government needs to be concerned about its citizens first and foremost, it cannot continue to make the Citizen of a lower caste than "undocumented immigrants" who are only slightly lower than the political caste in what legal protections they are afforded.
But back to the WOD, it clearly illustrates a contempt for the Constitution and for that which is lawful: By supporting the WOD you are supporting extra-constitutional governance w/o Rule of Law... and without the Rule of Law, the 'rules' are whimsical, lacking any need for rationality, and which are only selectively applied. (IOW, you are ceding to the government power to tyranny in supporting the WOD.)
Example: I generally dislike cigarette-smoke; however, the 'anti-smoking' laws for buildings are exceedingly onerous. -- Liberty means that Bob, owner of Bob's Bar, can make his establishment a smoking establishment; tyranny means he has no choice, but is mandated to make it one or the other.
I like your approach. I would make one small change.
Don’t vote for Pelosi. Instead the conservatives in the House should tell Boehner that they are voting for Allen West for Speaker.
Either he (Boehner) rallies the party behind their conservative choice (West), or the GOP will lose all their chairmanships, when the Dems have the votes to elect Pelosi.
There it is - hardball conservative politics. (Most of us have not seen it before.)
I am now of the thought that we need a bonafide free market fanatical sociopath at the helm.
Anything short of that won't cut it, at this point.
We need a trail blazing, I don't give a &*%$ what anyone thinks, we are GOING to win sort of personality to grab the reins of power.
