Yes. And that graph indicates that the fight for conservatives on the national level is already over. This is a one man/woman/corpse, one vote system and so long as the cities are dominant population-wise....which they will be for the foreseeable future...it’s a lost battle.

The good news is that there are huge swaths of area where our side is dominant. I view this talk about the gop to be worse than useless as it diverts attention from the fact that we already have a large portion of the land area under our sphere of influence.

The Divorce is coming. How that salts out and when it happens is orders of magnitude more important to us than which set of cowards and knuckleheads gets to run the gop.

I wouldn’t count on the divorce happening any time soon, if it actually does happen. People in this country are notoriously intransigent.

In the mean time, we should recognize that the Republican Party is essentially incapable of winning on a national level and focus on our regional dominance, like you said. Someone - and I don’t know who - should start a conservative third party and get ready to roll with local candidates (and perhaps select House races on the national level, I.E. Alan West) in 2014.

I wish someone would step up to the task. I wish we had a figurehead. I wish people like GOPe media machine hadn’t produced so many Stockholm syndrome conservatives.
