I prefer to think of him as Maj Nelson. There is nothing cooler than an astronaut with a hot genie!

Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy were also present when he passed away. That says a lot there.

R.I.P. Thanks for the great hours of TV, Larry.

I remember watching him let that gorgeous genie have to live a celibate life.
I would try to do the same but suspect she would get to me before long.

I saw him recently in the new Dallas series, he didn't seem well but he put an effort into trying to make it on the show.
Mrs. 40 has every season of Dallas on DVD and she insisted we visit Southfork when we visited Dallas a couple of years ago.
RIP JR.

How sad. His character is a part of Americana. I fondly remember the big deal Dallas was in its day (loved the early to middle years), but it always seemed to me that Larry Hagman didn't let that fame swell his head. J.R. was one of those bad guys we loved to hate.
RIP

I loved wasting Friday nights watching Dallas back in the ‘80s.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t he a conservative?
