Posted on 11/07/2012 9:44:33 PM PST by Nachum
Now that the 2012 presidential election is over and Barack Obama has been safely reelected, the journalists at ABC's Good Morning America woke up to the fact that the President has "refused" to provide details the terrorist attack in Libya and that the administration "didn't want to talk about it." [See video below. MP3 audio here.]
Fill-in host Elizabeth Vargas blithely announced, "In the meantime, the Libya issue has been overhanging this election. Allegations of a, quote, massive cover-up, by Senator John McCain about this administration's, really, refusal to really put to rest this issue before voting day." Martha Raddatz, who moderated the vice presidential debate, agreed, saying, "They didn't want to talk about it. Everybody tried to pin them down on that. They did not want to talk about it." "Everybody" tried to pin them down on Libya?

State run media
Some sort of “impeachment insurance” begins.
Vargas is a dumb tramp who spent to many drunk nights in bars wrapping her legs on any thing her drunken blurred eyes could remotely focus on.
All the media twits are teleprompter reading idiots. They covered this issue up and now will lightly glaze over it to say the exposed it on their shows.
The bigger problem is only 53 or so Congressional members have stepped up demanding answers. How many republicans are in the House???
if TSHTF I would not want to be a member of the LSM. Lot of folk around here VERY angry. Our local news rag got so rattled they endorsed a GOP POTUS candidate for the first time since Reagan. Of course waited until it was practically meaningless.
Once again , they think we’re ignorant. They endors RR and all the while let oblahblah slide and dog RR on page 3.
Bet they hear footsteps round every corner. Especially that too much candy Crowley. The fact that this idiot is still exhaling causes horrible , unneeded ,damage to our enviroment.
I wouldn’t trade the life of one Navy Seal for the lives of the top 1000 members of the press. Self promoting , losers , every one of them.
The MSM could very well turn on Ozero and shred him over
Benghazi. The did this to Billy in his second term.
LOL!! nope— they will do faux investigating and then EXONERATE him!!
I totally agree
There was no surprise about the attack. There was no 'failure of intel.' The attack was predicted in precise detail a month before it occurred. The draw down of security had to be intentional.
The failure to approve a rescue had to be intentional.
Keeping the Counterterrorism Security Group (CSG) in the dark about the attack had to be intentional.
Tweeting apologies for the 'anti-Muhammed video' beginning early that morning, repeatedly blaming all the violence at all of our embassies on the 'video' and making an apology video to air in Pakistan had to be intentional.
Stevens presence in Benghazi on 9-11 had to be intentional.
(Here's what they say to themselves) Well look what we have here? Where did all this info come from? Who was hiding it from us? We're going to get to the bottom of this,....ONEDAY.
Oh well, Old news now, no one interested,.....NEXT issue?
Why should they upset the applecart they just filled? They would be torn to pieces by the still rejoicing Obama crowd. My guerss is that even the Republican are wondering whether they should pursue this matter. Any serious investigation would be construed as an effort to overturn the election, and therefore illegitimate.
If anything serious happens, it will look like the Pearl Harbour investigation. To this day we dont know if the head shed was guilty of exposing Pearl to attack. Short and Kimbell were sacrificial goats: that we know. But that’s about the size of it.
Hard to say if they will shred or protect Obama, but they will start going after stories. It get pretty boring talking/lying about how wonderful things are.
Before the election, I heard on CBS radio newsbreaks that everything was great in NY and NJ. Now that the election is over, suddenly I’m hearing that people are without power and supplies while a storm is headed their way.
Those ugly pricks ignored the facts just long enough.
Expect tohear more stories come out now that the election is over.
Yesterday, I heard some in the press finally admit that the so called “recovery” is being propped up by QE
The “impeachment insurance” is Joe Biden!!!...Duh!
There’s another story on this forum about a large amount of military votes were delivered late and not counted—large enough to have swung the victory to Rommey.
I see parallels to the Nixon second term. Remember he won reelction by a landslide, then the Watergate hearings started. Nixon’s downfall, in MHO, was too much delegation to trusted subordinates, Halderman and Elrichman, and his own personal demons. There are a number of candidates in the Obama administration, Valerie, Holder, the Godfather,
During the Nixon administration there was massive inflation, over 9% if memory serves me, high gas prices (high for 1975), a lingering war, an corrupt and distant VP, Agnew who at least resigned when news of his failures to file and pay taxes. (Are you listening E. Holder?)
It took the Saturday night massacre to for all of the American public to realize the mess in the WH.
I worked for the Treasury Dept then and know that vouchers for gasoline were ready to be distributed and the IRS was tasked to monitor the transactions. Another department was established, IRS agents transferred and in many cases given promotions to oversee the operation. Of course, when the plan was scrapped the promotions weren’t rescinded. Oh no, we can’t do that!
Nixon, like O, had his demons. He wanted to be a Kennedy—rich, goodlooking, urbane. Like the eminent philospher, Popeye said, “I yam what I yam and that’s all that I yam!”
Time will tell~

> The impeachment insurance is Joe Biden!!!...Duh!
At this point a joker may be better than a toker.
