Now that the 2012 presidential election is over and Barack Obama has been safely reelected, the journalists at ABC's Good Morning America woke up to the fact that the President has "refused" to provide details the terrorist attack in Libya and that the administration "didn't want to talk about it." Fill-in host Elizabeth Vargas blithely announced, "In the meantime, the Libya issue has been overhanging this election. Allegations of a, quote, massive cover-up, by Senator John McCain about this administration's, really, refusal to really put to rest this issue before voting day." Martha Raddatz, who moderated the vice presidential debate, agreed, saying, "They didn't want to talk about it. Everybody tried to pin them down on that. They did not want to talk about it." "Everybody" tried to pin them down on Libya?

There was no surprise about the attack. There was no 'failure of intel.' The attack was predicted in precise detail a month before it occurred. The draw down of security had to be intentional.

Stevens presence in Benghazi on 9-11 had to be intentional.

Why should they upset the applecart they just filled? They would be torn to pieces by the still rejoicing Obama crowd. My guerss is that even the Republican are wondering whether they should pursue this matter. Any serious investigation would be construed as an effort to overturn the election, and therefore illegitimate.
If anything serious happens, it will look like the Pearl Harbour investigation. To this day we don’t know if the head shed was guilty of exposing Pearl to attack. Short and Kimbell were sacrificial goats: that we know. But that’s about the size of it.
Hard to say if they will shred or protect Obama, but they will start going after stories. It get pretty boring talking/lying about how wonderful things are.
Before the election, I heard on CBS radio newsbreaks that everything was great in NY and NJ. Now that the election is over, suddenly I’m hearing that people are without power and supplies while a storm is headed their way.
Those ugly pricks ignored the facts just long enough.
