Those in the CIA Annex requested permission to aid the consulate. Were told to stand down at least twice. Went anyway after being told to stand down the second time
I am so torn between listening to Rush and Fox!! I fear I am missing everything going back and forth. Time to set the record button.
The original Constitution provides that if neither the President nor Vice President can serve, the Congress shall provide law stating who is next in line. Currently that law exists as 3 USC 19, a section of the U.S. Code. This law was established as part of the Presidential Succession Act of 1947. There, the following line of succession is provided:

It is negligent that the higher ups ordered a Stand Down and did not provide backup. It should be noted that Doherty and Woods went against CIA orders and left the CIA Annex, went to the Consulate, rescued those whom they could find, made it back to the CIA Annex and continued fighting for another 3-4 hours before they were taken out by Al Qaeda.
What is really frightening and not in the MSM reports Doherty and Woods were part of a CIA team whose mission “was to find the more than 20,000 missing MANPADS, or shoulder-held missiles capable of bringing down a commercial aircraft.” Well done Obama! It's the usual Obama FUBAR.
Obama’s first priority is finding out where the leaks are coming from. I’d bet the farm on that on.
Think about it. No matter what type of BS Spin they think they can come up with, they KNOW someone (more than likely more than just one someone) will drop the bomb on any lie. They have to be worried about those sources—big time.
If you live in the DC area and notice your neighbor hold some sort of vague job in the Federal Government disappears, look for that neighbor locked down in the bowels of the administration (only 1/2 kidding).
Haven’t posted for quite awhile but my curiosity was peaked so I decided to see if today might be a Muslim holiday. Turns out it is. A three day holiday Eid al- Adha begins today.

Panetta said they couldn’t do anything because they didn’t know what was going on, so I ask, was 7hours not enuf time to find out? Did he himself or someone else ever bother to ask what the situation was? They had 7 hours! Panetta is full of BO!

Good question. Who is the Benghazi CIA Station Chief? Normally, they are given diplomatic cover in the State Dept. Was he evacuated with the rest of the embassy staff? Was Stevens himself the CIA Station Chief?
Either way, if they were contracting with the CIA, it would have gone up that chain of command, to Panetta, who answers only to Obama.
How could Biden become President when he is up to his eyeballs in this, too. Wouldn’t he also be impeached?

I think the stand down was to those in the CIA annex who wanted to go to the consulate. After the second Stand Down Doughtery, Woods and one other (his name escapes me) went anyway.
3 requests for help from the annex were denied.
If I understand it right it was both Stand Down and Request Denied.
and obama just ‘happens’ to be off the campaign trail today. What a mystery, huh?
