It is fitting that presidents give farewell messages.  But given the venue and setting President Obama had chosen, it was fairly easy to surmise that this would be a final political rally and national lecture. I will simply recount the one lasting legacy of Barack Obama that will always be emblazoned in my memory.  When I think of him, I will think of this.  When I reflect on his promised era of hope and change, I will be drawn to this image.  Despite your personal feelings on his coolness, his character, his charisma, or his competence, Barack Obama will forever...

During a town hall with members of the military, President Obama was asked what he thought of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s protest against the national anthem prior to football games. Obama appeared to equate the two positions — pointing out that he wanted Kaepernick to understand why people might be angry at his protest, while also urging military families to listen to the NFL players who joined Kaepernick by drawing attention to the Black Lives Matter movement.

resident Obama argued that the US does not have more people in prison than any other developed country “because we have more criminals. It’s because we have criminal justice policies, including unfair sentencing laws, that need to be reformed.” He added “simply locking people up doesn’t make communities safer” because “It doesn’t deal with the conditions that lead people to criminal activity in the first place, or to return to prison later.”
  • Obama: Keeping 2.2 Million Americans In Prison Is Hurting The Economy

Keeping 2.2 million Americans in prison is hurting the economy, President Obama said Saturday in his weekly address, describing a report that outlines those arguments. The move is part of a federal effort to rally support for an effort by the Obama Administration to reduce the number of people in prison and to help them once they are released. The administration will announce the steps next week during what has been dubbed “National Reentry Week,” from April 24-28. “This isn’t just about what makes economic and practical sense. It’s about making sure that we live up to our ideals as...

While giving a press conference in Paris, President Barack Obama told reporters that the mass shootings that plague the United States just never happen in other countries. “With respect to Planned Parenthood, obviously, my heart goes out to the families of those impacted,” Obama said in response to a reporter’s question. “I mean, I say this every time we’ve got one of these mass shootings; this just doesn’t happen in other countries.” For those living under a rock, the city of Paris itself was just hit with a series of simultaneous terrorist attacks. The majority of 130 deaths were in...

Robert Lewis Dear, a 57-year-old from North Carolina, has been named as the suspected gunman behind a standoff at a Planned Parenthood health clinic in which three people died and nine were injured. After he was named, Barack Obama said on Saturday the US had “to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them”. “Period,” the president added, in a statement released by the White House. “Enough is enough.” Officials speaking off the record gave the suspect’s identity to news outlets late on Friday. On Saturday morning,...

"In Al-Bukamal, we destroyed 116 tanker trucks, which we believe will reduce ISIL's ability to transport its stolen oil products," Warren said. "This is our first strike against tanker trucks, and to minimize risks to civilians, we conducted a leaflet drop prior to the strike. We did a show of force, by -- we had aircraft essentially buzz the trucks at low altitude." The leaflets, which fluttered to the ground about 45 minutes before the strikes, simply said: "Get out of your trucks now, and run away from them. Warning: airstrikes are coming. Oil trucks will be destroyed. Get away...

The Obama administration has intervened in a lawsuit over Palestinian attacks that have killed Americans. In a court filing, the U.S. government says a hefty bond requirement could financially destabilize the Palestinian government. The filing comes in a case in New York City, where a jury this year awarded $218.5 million to survivors and victims’ relatives. That amount is automatically tripled. …

....Obama pardoned the national Thanksgiving turkey with a smile on Wednesday, but he admitted before saving the bird from it's likely demise that he found the decades-old tradition somewhat "puzzling." "It is a little puzzling that I do this every year, but I will say that I enjoy it because with all the tough stuff that swirls around in this office it's nice once in a while just to say, 'Happy Thanksgiving,'" he said.

President Obama vowed a more “aggressive” federal response to the spread of Ebola in the United States. And he offered assurance tonight that a “serious outbreak” remains extremely unlikely. “I want people to understand that the dangers of you contracting Ebola, the dangers of a serious outbreak, are extraordinarily low,” he said after meeting with Cabinet members and other top aides. “But we are taking this very seriously at the highest levels of government.” That assurance that a “serious” outbreak is unlikely is markedly less optimistic than the one Obama offered only a week earlier in a call with governors...

The past few days events have become deadly serious on the fronts of the Ebola outbreak and Terrorism. And yet the country’s ‘leadership’ refuses to take these threats seriously. From past experience we know that the Obola regime will respond to their myriad scandals and crimes with a tried and true method:A) Lie through their teeth B) Blame someone else C) Scream RACISM [not necessarily in this order] But let’s lay out the facts for all to see:1). It’s been President Obola’s decision [and continues to be] to NOT Secure the border from Terrorists and Ebola infected illegal invaders. 2)....

KANSAS CITY, Kan.—The University of Kansas Hospital reports an individual called and then came into the hospital early this morning with a high fever and other serious symptoms. Because the patient had recently worked on a medical boat off the west coast of Africa, the patient was immediately isolated on a special infectious disease unit and is undergoing tests. Hospital staff met the patient wearing personal protection equipment and followed the hospital’s plan for this kind of illness.

At his press conference today Barack Obama accused the United States of torture. Obama drops drone bombs instead. In his mind, it’s more ethical. The AP reported, via Free Republic: President Barack Obama says in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, the United States did things that were wrong and crossed the line. He says, quote, “we tortured some folks.” Obama is commenting on a Senate investigation into the CIA’s interrogation techniques. A report on that investigation’s results is expected to be released in the coming weeks. Obama says it’s important to remember how horrified Americans were after 9/11. But he...

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Pointing the finger at Republicans for congressional inaction, President Barack Obama chided lawmakers Wednesday for spending the waning days before their month-long summer break trying to sue him rather than addressing economic issues that could boost the middle class. "Stop being mad all the time. Stop just hating all the time. Come on," the president said in a boisterous and sharply partisan speech in Kansas City.

Retired Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Saturday he has sources saying President Barack Obama was in the room at the White House watching the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya unfold. Two unarmed U.S. drones were dispatched to the consulate and recorded the final hours of the attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. “This was in the middle of the business day in Washington, so everybody at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, everybody was watching this go down,” Shaffer said on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” “According to my...

Once again, Obama appoints the most vicious radical to a key leadership position. At Justice, no less. An anti-American, enemy of freedom demagogue. Obama’s hatred for this country sends shivers up my spine. Radical racist Debo Adegbile has worked hard to free Mumia Abu-Jamal. Abu-Jamal gunned down policeman Daniel Faulkner in Philly in...
