IIRC, not long ago France was paying women to stay at home and have children. Their Total Fertility Rate (TFR) is well below replacement with ethnic French people. Now, in the face of domestic muslim muslim terrorism and population growth they choose to underwrite 100% of abortions - totally unacceptable for the muslim population. The upshot: the French are subsidizing national suicide.

I don’t think we’re that far behind. Our schools offer plan B contraceptive without parental notification, and we force religious institutions to provide free contraception. Surely we’re not far from free abortions for everyone.

This is selective abortion. They want to make sure that really poor people can afford an abortion. Anyone not poor would not be deterred by a co-pay. Here they’re clearly “reaching out” to the poor to make sure they abort their kids.
Why don’t they put a premium on it? How about paying poor people to have an abortion?
