Messina: Forget The Tied National Polls, We're Winning (Panic Sets In)
BuzzFeed ^ | 09/22/2012 | Zeke Miller

Posted on 09/22/2012 4:50:53 PM PDT by nhwingut

Obama campaign manager Jim Messina told reporters on Saturday that despite national tracking polls showing the president and Romney tied, Obama is still winning.

"In all the battleground states, we continue to see all our pathways there," he told the White House pool at an Obama fundraiser in Milwaukee. "We're either tied or in the lead in every battleground state 45 days out."

Messina, who drove from Chicago to Wisconsin to be with Obama on his first trip to a state that appears to have come into play when Paul Ryan was selected to be Romney's running mate, predicted that the national polling will get even closer, but that the president's lead will hold in key swing states.

Forget the tied polls that are heavily skewed to Obama, he’s winning.

Jim Messina looks like the kind of guy that you would want to keep your kids away from if you saw him at your local park

Yeah, Wisconsin , Colorado and Iowa have all come into play. But don’t worry we are winning.

“””We’re either tied or in the lead in every battleground state 45 days out.”””

As defined by the DemoMarxists here are some of those battleground states: California, Illinois, and New York,

Yep. This was basically called off last week. With the skewed polls showing Obama up, and Romney’s so called big gaffes. It was Obama in a romp. Except they forgot to tell the voters in the only two legit polls.

I bet they are seeing their base is not excited and it is going to be hard to get them out.. MSM knows this and pumpin gthese outrageous polls trying to depress republican vote. I keep hearing people who voted for Obama are not voting for him now. I was getting my oil changed today and talked to a guy whose mother in law is a big lib (Jimmy Carter Lib is what he called her) and she won’t be voting for Obama this time.

Here the problem for Camp 0. YOU ARE THE INCUMBENT, you should be in the lead. That you are barely ahead in polls assuming a massively favorable turn out model for you is a really bad sign for your campaign.

Chicago to Wisconsin to be with Obama on his first trip to a state

If you are "winning" Jim why are you campaigning in a reliably Blue state instead of a swing state?

These polling companies that have had these outrageous polls will be probably be changing them soon to be more in line with rassmussen and gallup (+2 or 3 D over R) in order to keep their credibility.. They know it and are trying to spin so it looks like they have some momentum b4 it happens

And why is he driving from ChiTown just to see Obama in WI? Things are not looking good. This is why Romney appears confident despite the narrative from the media.

The best tweet I saw today was from David Burge (‏@iowahawkblog). He tweeted: "American Journalism" = "Soviet Psychiatry."

Right. I know two neighbors who voted Obama but now will vote for Romney. Each of them never voted for a Dem for president until Obama. Keep in mind that many conservatives and GOP sat out in 08, especially in the Northeast (like NH). This time, many of those folks can’t wait to cast a ballot. Their base may be eager but their fringe is not motivated.

How unsubstantive can one speak.

I never knew how physically repulsive Jim Messina was until I saw the recent photo of him smiling like a pedophile for the creepy new “For All” campaign.
