Have you heard about the airliner which was ordered back to the gate on 9/11 when the terrorist attacks began, only to have four young Arab passengers jump off the plane, after which box cutters and Al Qaeda documents were found in their abandoned bags?
Timmons confirmed that as the pilot grabbed the crash ax, she jumped from her seat and started barricading the cockpit door. From the other side of the barricade the cabin crew relayed their concern about four young Arab men in first-class who became agitated when the take-off was cancelled, and fled from the plane when it returned to the terminal. Box cutters and Al Qaeda documents were later found in their luggage.

Huh? Who opened the airplane door so they could flee when the plane teached the terminal - especially when they were acting suspiciously?

Yes, I heard about it. In the few weeks after 9/11, when I was a flight attendant, I and many others heard it was a plane either in Washington, DC or Baltimore.
We also heard of many other instances of boxcutters being found in seat back pockets not long afterwards.
And of the recovery teams in NY finding human remains of people who had survived the initial blast and destruction, only to die when they couldn’t be rescued days to weeks later.

There were several arab pilots invited to the cockpit that day. sometimes done as courtesy to other pilots. i remember reading several disappeared as planes forced back to gates.
I live not far from where their DC ground support team had been assembled. There were 75 taxicabs in that neighborhood. It was a real parking space concern ~ so we were all counting the cabs to see just how bad a problem we had.
On 9/11 that dropped to 15 taxicabs. 60 cabs, their drivers, their dependents, and others living with them in that townhouse development DISAPPEARED!
Since then we haven't had more than 18 cabs in the area ~ but we did have an AlQaida guy come back to the area to make contact. He was identified by Afghans and shot to death on a basketball court.
We lived with federal investigators staking out the area for several years.
This is the real concern. According to my readings for my Master's Degree (National Security Affairs with a concentration in Homeland Security) the southern border is so porus that for the last ten years or more, 10% of all the illegal crossers apprehended have been from threat nations. If the math is correct that could mean up to 70,000 potential terrorists still lurking inside our borders waiting to strike. Even if some of them converted to the American ideal of a happy life, I'll bet far more are still in the hunt for those ineffable virgins.
I’m not so sure. I clearly remember stories both confirmed and unconfirmed of similar nature back when these events unfolded 11 years ago. Free Republic might even have them archived.

Thanks to the information so grudgingly provided to the CIA by the soggy KSM and other sources, the Bush administration in...? (don't remember the year but remember the airplanes being grounded in Dulles and London) foiled another wave of suicide hijackings of flights originating in London and DC

I hadn’t heard that one. Perhaps someone got it mixed up with the (true) stories of sailors trapped in sunken warships at Pearl Harbor?

Absolutely not.
Someone working at the airline got on our plane, the blood drained from his face. Either his brother or close friend was part of the rescue/recovery teams and he had just heard from them.

There were young Middle eastern men living on the second floor of the house across the street from us in Malden, MA. Which is about a 20 minute drive to Logan. They would be up on the computer all night because we could see them with the shades up. They paid cash for the rent and said they went to school in Boston. But were around during the day. They disappeared on the day after the attacks.
