Plus, as a result of our new deal, you will soon enjoy the freedom to see all your favorite Viacom shows on your computer, tablet or cell phone through our DIRECTV Everywhere platform. Although Viacom had regrettably tried to deny you access to drive a more expensive deal, our focus was always about giving you the absolute best experience at the most reasonable cost.

As a result of losing the channels for nearly 2 weeks, they gave me the NFL ticket for $99.
Not bad considering I don’t watch any of their channels on a regular basis.

Too bad I didn’t miss one channel. MTV? Never. VH1? Not really. And the rest I never heard of.

All I can say is thank Heaven we didn’t have to miss any of the info-mercial channels! :-)

Spike Powerblock automotive shows are about I watch viacom for.
Of note TCM went to HD.

You know, I found there was nothing on any of their channels that I watched anyways. D-TV kept apologizing for the channels being offline but I missed nothing that I watch.

So glad to be done with DirecTV. Netflix, Hulu Plus and OTA antenna give me more than I can watch for just $20 per month.

around here (Indiana) they switched their name to Xfinity because the Comcast brand is so reviled

Did you have to ask for that, demand that or did they just offer it to you?
thanks.

Thanks for posting that. I’ve been waiting for TCMHD. I don’t think they even announced it.

Did you have to ask for that, demand that or did they just offer it to you?I asked for it. I was connected with their retention department. Normal customer service can't/won't give breaks like the retention department does.
They also gave me free HD for a year and $5 off HBO for 6 mos. We have been with DTV for 11 years so we get whatever we ask for pretty easily.
