President Obamas claim that the GOP is mounting a war on women has proven to be a failure. A month into his assault on the Republicans and Mitt Romney, the new CBS-New York Times poll shows that the GOP presidential candidate now leads among women--and men.
Since April, women have gone from strongly backing Obama to endorsing Romney. In April, Obama held a 49 percent to 43 percent lead among women. That has now flipped to 46 percent backing Romney with 44 percent for Obama, an 8-point switch.
Ironically, Romneys support among men has dropped, but he still edges Obama 45 percent to 42 percent.
And heres a surprise: Despite the media hyping the so-called war on women, no major outlet today noticed Romneys new lead with women voters.
This is unbelievable, said conservative consultant Greg Mueller. The CBS story manages to not mention the change in women numbers, he said, adding sarcastically. No media bias here -- Obama is getting fluffy stories about his commencement speech to women at Barnard -- so we better bury the reality.

There is not going to be much positive left to ‘win’ in fours years either way.
About 17 months ago Cavuto asked Jim DeMint if he would run for POTUS. He replied “Hell no! Why would I want a job like that?”
I guess that means we’re winning the war on women.
“...to give him a chance...None will make the same mistake again.”
That is our secret weapon this time!!!
I wonder if even this is true. I'm sure there are plenty of gays, particularly affluent ones, who are more concerned with the state of the economy than they are with marriage. Honestly, I wonder just how huge an issue gay marriage even is to the gay population as a whole.
The bloom is off the rose..
Well, for one thing, the only thing "Republican" about Romney is his party registration; other than that, he has been a steadfast proponent of five major liberal causes: state-run medicine, subsidized abortion on-demand, global warming cap--and-trade, "compassionate" activist liberal judges, and the homosexual agenda. People -- even liberals -- know this, so it's always a wink-wink when calling Romney a "Republican."
For another thing, Romney has always appealed to women because he is very handsome and conveys a nice, safe, Daddy's-Home security of "the grown-ups are here" that appeals to Mommy-state minds. Of course, sadly, people don't remember that a person who assumes "grown-up" status among "children" ends up treating the "children" who oppose him with contempt and condescension. And those "children" would be conservatives in the case of Romney.
That this is regarded as a "shock poll" is laughable.
Too bad our ammunition, Romney, is the equivalent of a rubber-tipped arrow. :^(
You damned right that’a a REAL woman!!! God bless her!
Hopefully, Romney will at least run well enough so that he helps rather than hurts better Republicans running down ticket.
>>The jungle fever appeal faded once they announced Obama was gay.<<
You know, I hadn’t thought of the Newsweek cover from that perspective before. When Clinton managed to become known as the “First Black President,” it was probably obvious to most of the dimmer-witted Dem voters (the ones who think the comedy shows are news shows) that it was metaphorical, and not real.
However, that same Dem voter demographic, looking at Newsweek’s cover, probably went, “Really, he’s gay?”
And many of the women among them are probably now looking elsewhere for their next leader, while the next Obama campaign challenge is how to explain to them that they’re too stupid to understand a metaphor. Maybe hire Reggie Love to make the pitch?
This stuff is too good to make up. It could be a really fun campaign season.
I think the damage is too far done to recover from without a crash in the middle.
"You hadda suckup to a bunch of sicko perverts. And drag me
into it. The whole dam country is in Romney's pocket, going
Republican. "
"Me? I'm stuck with you 'n a buncha queers sizing up my ***
trying to get my private phone number."
"Worse yet, DNC plans to have Michelle French-kiss
Ellen DeGenerate on national TV had to be cancelled.
Michelle is furious."
Actually the Dems have THEIR women voters pegged correctly. Liberal women have always thought Republicans hate women, so Obama and his friends' comments fit right in with their worldview.
It's all those other women who don't swallow the Democrat Snake Oil, who didn't buy into the idea of the 'War on Women'. That's why Mitt's numbers among women are going up.
But Obama leads with homos.

Last week Mark Levin had a lesbien caller. She was not happy with 0bama and said she would not vote for him but would reluctantly vote for Romney. It was an economic issue with her.
That's the thing. While Obama is clearly trying to court gay voters, Romney himself isn't exactly adversarial when it comes to gay issues either. It's not like gays have to choose between Obama on one side and Fred Phelps on the other. I'll bet Romney picks up a lot of gay voters, mainly for economic issues but also because Romney is a guy they "could live with".
Funny thing is Romney can play dirty with the best of them.
Should be an entertaining ride.
And lie too. MR and Obama have to be the biggest liars we have seen run, seems fair in a way.
But Obama leads with homos.
Ibamo has the homo momentum.
Otherwise, I support LBGT (Less Big Goverment Tyranny) community.
Women can smell a lie at 10 paces... and Obama’s lies - unlike Clinton’s, are NOT charming...
If this holds until November...its over for Obozo...big time!!!
