Are you tired of the slanderous attacks against Newt Gingrich from Glenn Beck, Matt Drudge, Fox, and the establishment GOP? We must give Newt a BIG grassroots FLORIDA victory! Newt encourages grassroots citizen participation. The other candidates just want your vote and then they don't want to hear from you again. Please go to newt.org and volunteer to make calls or volunteer on the ground to get out the vote in Florida. Let's "bury" Romney and the elite in Florida!!!

Less enthused about Newt since he has moved hard-left on immigration, and said Mittens earns “$20 million automatic each year without working”. I do not support amnesty for illegals not attacks on capitalism. Why can’t he stop coming back to these leftists talking points?

The Republican establishment doesn't seem to realize that if they keep it up, they are going to alienate Newt supporters so much, that a large number of us will NOT vote for Romney in November under any circumstance, even if it means four more years of Obama. I think the establishment thinks that if they can kill off Newts campaign by any means necessary, that his supporters will eventually “come around” to Romney, I don't think that's the case, and I hope if the do, Newt runs 3rd party.

Look, whaat Santorum said came to pass yesterday...what did Newtie say? He actually said he would have a “moon base” and travel to Mars.

Really? Really Newt?

Because.........people are clamoring for same?/sarc

We need integrity from the top down, remaking of our economy to be business friendly and he could have said he would rebuild the space program, but I think Newt has cracked up under the pressure. What a ridiculous thing to say.

Yes, they think we are all stupid and can be led around like sheep. Don’t they realize if we could be led around like sheep, we would be Democrats?

Yes, Newt tacks left when he has to. Can't alienate the hispanics in Florida. I hope all the Newt supporters mentally prepare themselves for some disappointments. Newt may be the best conservative they can get, but he will use whatever approach he thinks he has to use to win. Politics. Seems like you have to destroy the village to take it sometimes, so you wonder what the point is.

Nonsense. He has said this crap long before FL. And FL Hispanics do not back amnesty. The vast majority are Cuban and Puerto Rican - American citizens. Rubio opposes the DREAM Act, for pete's sake. And the "$20 million without working"? How do you explain that disgusting class warfare crap? Newt better cut it out. As I have said before, there is MORE than enough to hit Mittens on without betraying conservative values. RomneyCare, gay rights, abortion.

I cannot understand how the republican establishment can not see where the enemy is located and stop fighting amoung them selves.

The enemy is the Bozo POS commie, muslim doing his best as
_resident of the United States; as POTUS he is hell bent on doing away with America.

Wow. You're a principled conservative. I thought they'd all died out and FR had become the Newt channel. So will you hold your nose and vote Newt? I will if I have to. Did you hear Rubio got Newt to pull his anti-Romney ad saying Mitt is anti-immigrant? We have met the enemy, and he is us.

Behind a G.O.P. Revolt, Ideology and Politics

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/26/washington/26cong.html?scp=2&sq=newt+gingrich+fannie+mae+freddie+mac&st=nyt

(excerpt)

Mr. Boehner and other House Republicans were furious at the White House for signing on to the bill, and they pointed to Mr. Paulson as the culprit. For his part, according to lawmakers who had discussions with the Treasury secretary, Mr. Paulson privately complained that the Republicans simply did not grasp the severity of the economic threat posed by the potential for a housing collapse.

What they do grasp is a need to draw some sharp distinctions between themselves and Democrats, and to reassert themselves as ardent foes of wasteful government spending. They are convinced that traveling a wayward fiscal path was the reason for their undoing in 2006.

“We learned our lesson after the 2006 election,” said a chastened Mr. Boehner. “I’d be the first to admit that I think some of my colleagues lost their way leading up to the ’06 election.”

Senior Republican officials acknowledged privately that another factor had also been at work in the Republican tide against the housing bill: the prospect of a leadership fight after the fall elections. Given the chance of losses in November, the current leadership team is not assured another term at the top. And Mr. Boehner, other Republican leaders and potential challengers are doing what they can to demonstrate their conservative bona fides to the rightward-tilting House Republican membership.

“I believe rewarding, encouraging and reinforcing risky investments should not be the role of the government and certainly shouldn’t be financed by taxpayers,” said Representative Roy Blunt of Missouri, the No. 2 Republican, in explaining his stance against the bill.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich spoke at a private party meeting before the vote and joined Mr. Boehner in encouraging Republicans to oppose the measure, rallying lawmakers who remember that it was Mr. Gingrich’s ideas that prevailed in the halcyon days of the Republican revolution.

Here is one more!

“While the Romney campaign today has worked aggressively to justify its candidate’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac investments as a benign oversight, a new report has surfaced indicating that top Romney campaign aides worked as lobbyists themselves for both Fannie Mac and Freddie Mac. Matt Lewis at The Daily Caller reports: “According to the AP, former Rep. Susan Molinari — a top Romney surrogate and adviser . . . was one of the former GOP lawmakers paid quite handsomely to help stop “any meaningful regulation in the years before the housing mortgage giant crashed.”

Good ammo.
We need to Praise the Lord and keep passing the ammunition.

BTW, Newt's daughter was just on FOX. She had a very good presentation and FOX actually played the Nancy Reagen clip. (It was mentioned by Campaign Carl earlier today)

Newt is in Mt. Dora right now at the Lakeside Inn. Will be on the Neal Boortz show within the upcoming hour. I just heard from a freeper there who took pics and said Byron York is there. Newt is saying the establishment is out to take him down. We all need to make our own yard signs according to what I just heard as they do not have the money for them. They do have bumper stickers though. I will have one shortly! I just VCR’d Newts daughter on Fox and will rewind it to see what she had to say.

I just emailed Drudge asking “why the constant character assassination of Newt Gingerich” and telling him his website is no longer viable.

I have a strong suspicion that some Dem operative got to Drudge, and perhaps has some steamy pictures of Matt and one of his “boyfriends” in compromising positions.
