The only thing I kind of disagree with is (don’t hit me) gay adoption. I live in a city with a high gay population and a lot of gays adopt from the foster world. A lot of these kids are born drug addicted or otherwise messed up and the gay parents love them, which is not all that bad. I just mean I’ve seen them with these kids and it’s not the worst thing for the kid.
>> Its possible C-Span wasnt asked, and those running the debate wanted the hits.CSPAN was going to air it until this past Thursday when they came up with the excuse they didnt have adequate funds. LOL Can you imagine, not covering a Republican forum because of lack of funds! Surely not because its the Republicans want to de-fund public broadcasting could it?
What kind of question is that - the President doesn’t have the power to change the Supreme Court terms or to cut Congress’ pay or budgets. I’d rather hear questions about things the President can actually do.
You can’t just up and abolish a circuit court
I think you are right (gay adoption on balance would be better than foster homes) though I would not force any private charity to follow your recomemnded standard.
Like I said, I’d rather hear about things that the President can actually influence, not ridiculous campaign rhetoric.
The POTUS has the position of power in pushing the conversation and shaping the debate. The voters have the power to vote out the pigs feeding at trough. ;)
Where the hell was Bachmann buying gas for under two bucks a gallon in 2008
No of course not.
This is very interesting and further emphasizes that any one of the Republican candidates would be superior to the current occupier of the White House!
....and yet less than 20,000 on the live web feed to watch.
That might be possible through more energy independence. :-)
So far very impressed by all. Newt, Cain and Paul really good, Bachmann doing well do, dido Perry, Santorum needs to stop patting himself on the back. Next session is going to be hard on Newt, personal mistakes, lol, good luck Newt.
Ahhhh, but it does not serve their intent my FRiend ; )
I just have to say, it is SO refreshing to hear real discourse on what WE, (the opposition) believe needs to be done! And interestingly enough, it seems that when candidates are allowed to discuss what they believe is important, without being pigeonholed by what the Left says is important, then we suddenly find ourselves witness to some very statesmanlike thought processes, (and Newt appears to be the only ONE of the smartest folks in the room!).
Go figure ; }
May God guide our course.

Amazing.

This is very nice and the American people needed to see it. Surprised the Mormons aren’t there. This was the perfect format for them to describe their faith.
I am thinking that lunz is Jewish? I like to see GD fearing people discuss their shared values.
Constitutional amendments have happened before. In order to get there the idea has to be presented in a way that it becomes part of the debate. It’s not an easy feat at all but to say it’s impossible is to give up and say that things will never change. History says differently.
