The POTUS has the position of power in pushing the conversation and shaping the debate. The voters have the power to vote out the pigs feeding at trough. ;)

We're talking about things that would require Constitutional amendments or Congress voting to give itself a serious pay cut. Things that will not happen. Might as well talk about changing the speed of light.

Constitutional amendments have happened before. In order to get there the idea has to be presented in a way that it becomes part of the debate. It’s not an easy feat at all but to say it’s impossible is to give up and say that things will never change. History says differently.
