WASHINGTON - Today's uncovering of secret multi-agency program for shipping illegal Gibson guitars to Mexican drug cartels left red-faced officials of the U.S. Department of Justice scrambling for an explanation amid angry calls for a Congressional investigation.
ain't no gitah builders welcome 'round here ...
There’s no Amendment yet for guitars, but I believed it’s covered in the “pursuit of happiness” clause.
Off to the punitentiary with ye!
Save the can - you can use it as evidence in the liability suit when horrible things happen in your naso-sinus cavity. Make sure the URL is bookmarked, too.
Cute. And when Gibson starts making the ES-390 and the SG with Great Panda penises, Mountain Gorilla livers, and the skin from forcibly aborted Texas babies, none of you will have objections. After all, Gibson's CEO donated money to the Republicans so any action against Gibson for those penile-liver-fetus-skin guitars must certainly be because of the Republican donations.
Have a good day.
lol looks like the breed my neighbor has, a Bernese Mountain Dog.
That’s an upside down telecaster. Hendrix was a Strat guy.
“We need to get to the bottom of this thing before it gets out of hand,” said Issa. “We have reports that Justice is also providing Colombian cocaine gangs with AutoTune.”
Honest, I didn’t know he was a guitar-playing orchid-grower when I married him!
We must defend the guitar manufacturer, whether it’s Gibson or Carvin. Axe grabbers be damned! We know our rights.
This guy has a lot of information on the raids:

WTF, indeed!
Silly scout, the dispute at hand appears to be whether it’s legitimate for Gibson to have a piece of rosewood imported from India finished once in India to fulfill India’s law, then finished a second time in the USA to fulfill quality requirements that can’t be met in India. Nobody’s talking about using endangered panda ears.
Hendrix was certainly a Strat guy (but he also played a Mosrite and Gibson Flying V, among other guitars), but the Telecaster in Jack Ruby's hands is either a left-handed Tele or is simply flipped horizontally in a photo alteration program. Check out the volume and tone knobs - they're still below the strings. And check out the distinctive Tele headstock - its slight curve goes down, as it should.
It's either a left-handed Tele or a right-handed one that's been flipped horizontally in Photoshop, but not an upside-down one.
