He Could Always Admit He Was Wrong

Only 26 percent of the public approves of President Obama's handling of the economy in the latest Gallup poll, conducted Aug. 11-14, while a whopping 71 percent said they disapproved.

That's down from Obama's previous low point of 35 percent on this top issue.

The public's growing dissatisfaction shouldn't be surprising. Going back to 1890, reports the National Bureau of Economic Research, the only U.S. president with a worse record than Obama in job creation in his first two and a half years in office, measured in terms of percentage change, was Herbert Hoover, presiding over the emergence of the Great Depression.

"Official unemployment is 9.1 percent," stated a New York Times editorial on August 15, decrying the nation's jobs picture, "but it would be 16.1 percent, or 25.1 million people, if it included those who can only find part-time jobs and those who have given up looking for work."

"Keeping the economy going and making sure jobs are available is the first thing I think about when I wake up the morning," said President Obama back in March. "It's the last thing I think about when I go to bed each night."

Now, nearly a half year later, the White House reports that Obama is working on a new strategy for job creation that will be unveiled after he returns from vacation.

The task of coming up with a jobs plan that works shouldn't be all that terribly difficult. All Mr. Obama has to do is reverse what he's done and change what he thinks.

First, by the government's own numbers, small businesses have created 64 percent of the net new jobs in...

--SNIP--

Bottom line, what's required from Obama is a complete about-face, the shelving of his flawed economic philosophy, and a reversal of his counter-productive policy prescriptions...

Fat chance. Clinton did this, but he was from this country and reacted to poor polling numbers. baraq isn’t concerned with polls and is not one of us. Plus he is way in the tank with the unions, anarchists, and muslims to back down now.

Wonder if any one in the “Journ-o-list” community will ask the Present-ident to explain the contradiction between his rhetoric on jobs and his administration actions?

“Bottom line, what’s required from Obama is a complete about-face......”

No. Obama passed that option a long time ago. After wasting trillions and wrecking our country in his attempts to steal our way of life, an “about face” will never work.

Obama can wait and be taken out, legally, perhaps by the election or he can immediately resign.

In BO’s twisted mind, a 26% approval is a mandate to keep on going.

Some predict that Obama could get a bump from his “victory” in Libya that could bring him above 60% overall approval. I don’t see it going that high but more and more are saying it. Perhaps they’re watching the data by the hour.

“After wasting trillions...”

You better believe the people on the receiving end of those trillions don’t think it’s a waste.

26% approval rating?

No doubt Obama is thinking to himself, just like most liberals and socialists, “the people, they don’t know what’s good for them”.

Besides, Obama would never admit to being wrong, otherwise, his whole life and training would have been a waste. (Even though it is, no matter what the does now).

I think you give Zer0 too much credit for being "smart" enough to plan the destruction of our economy.

I don't think so. I think that he absolutely thought that the American People would eagerly buy into his European socialist welfare state model for us....buying into the pictures of the tanned people walking the beaches in France.....seeing the happy looking people "relaxing" in the parks of Germany...etc.

I think that he is surprised and dismayed that so many people are rejecting his proposals, but because of his narcissism,he cannot back out now...

...so all he has to sell is the same old "product" that he always has been trying to sell...

...trying to convince us that tax and spend and bigger government is the path to prosperity...and to further along the sell, is the class warfare...the "rich" have too much and pay too little.

..he don't know anything else!

What people are coming to realize is that Obama is now sounding insane...

...always saying and doing the same thing, but expecting a different result.

...watch what happens when he gives his "jobs" plan....if he comes out and gives his same old standard tax and spend, class warfare "plan"...the stock market is likely to crash, and we will long for the days when the market only goes down a hundred or so points...

The birth of the Internet era is what saved Clinton and his tax increases. The economy for the first couple of years of Clinton's first term were floundering until Hillarycare finally died and the Republican congress was elected. Then came the Internet boom.

After Ohaha wasted $$trillions, wrecking our country in his "cockamamie redistribution" scam, an “about face” will never work. Obama can wait and be taken out, via the 2012 election or he can immediately resign.

The scariest words ever uttered.

Pres-elect Ohaha: "We are hours away from fundamentally changing America."

And everybody in the audience clapped and cheered.

Wonder what they're doing now?

Uh-huh but don't get excited everyone as I know what it is.....
Barry's 'strategy' is to ... Improve His Golf Game. Really, don't laugh, I'm serious. You see right now he SUCKS at golf.

One part especially -- his 'Short Game'. That's with your approach shot to the Green with short shafted, high lofted clubs, like 8 Iron through Pitching Wedge. His problem is he doesn't get back-spin on the ball so if he does hit the Green with his ball it rolls right off -- no back spin, no stoppy.

And the only way to get back spin is to strike down and ... take a Divot (rip up some grass). This creates back spin and your ball stays on the green. This mean the better you are with 'Your Short Game', the more grass you rip up on the golf course.

So Barry *thinks* if he could get better, he'll be tearing up a heck of a lot of grass and THIS will create more jobs for Groundskeepers everywhere. And they'll be so much extra work that Golf Courses will have to hire more people. Violla - he just created some new jobs!

However (you knew that was coming didn't ya), the only problem is that most Groundskeepers now ---- Don't Speak English! Yep, unfortunately 90% are now those visitors from the South who just forget to go home after Golf Season is over.
