That little “eek” peeking out from behind was, of course, unforeseen.

Bachmann is taking the right stance on this.

It does not appear that the picture was Photoshopped.

Instead, it is an actual photo of Bachmann which has succeeded in getting her additional publicity.

I hope she crushes Willard the Mitt on Saturday. I hope she pulverizes him into dust.

Boring.

Newsweek’s such a sophomoric comic book.

No, the Newsweek cover doesn’t make Michele Bachmann look crazy, it makes Newsweek look petty and sexist.

The three people who will buy the issue won’t vote for her. No loss. Newsweak is so 20th Century.

Tina Brown is a Commie Pinko POS. I wonder whether she did this to slam Bachmann or to make an issue to get their ZERO circulation pamphlet some buzz. Otherwise, no one would have noticed what they put on their cover.

Snoozeweak has a habit of controversial covers.

Even if not photoshopped, was it posed or was it taken from a pool shot on the campaign trail? If I follow them around with a high speed camera long enough, I’ll come up with whatever instantaneous facial expression I need to make someone look however I want them to.

As of yesterday afternoon, Bachmann still hadn’t seen the picture...

Yeah right! A woman finds out there is a somewhat unflattering picture of her on the cover of a national magazine and she hasn't seen it? I don't care who the woman is, she would see it!

Yes, the point is that they find the most unrepresentative and unflattering pic of conservatives while flattering and portraying the Telepromter-N-Chief like his private PR firm.

Sissy Chrissy Prissy Matthews is obsessed with this. I accidentally landed on PMSNBC the other day and he was on a full rant about how it made Bachmann look crazy and wasn't a selected photo but showed the real her.

Guy needs a life.

“If I follow them around with a high speed camera long enough, I’ll come up with whatever instantaneous facial expression I need to make someone look however I want them to.”

Well of course. However, that is not something that only happens to Michele Bachmann, but to almost all in public life.

Newsweek needs to be pressed on where the picture came from.
