COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Navy has dropped dismissal proceedings against a South Carolina-based sailor who was charged with unprofessional conduct after he was found in the same bed with another male sailor, a spokesman said Friday.

The Navy no longer has a dismissal case against Petty Officer Stephen Jones, said spokesman Thomas Dougan, who wouldn't discuss any details.

How would a sex romp in a coed Navy be treated?

If the answer is “more strictly than this” then the whole state of Denmark is rotten now, so to speak.

Make war, not love!

I found a passed out drunk Sailor in my rack once....I pulled him out by his ear, he didn’t come to until he hit the deck.

Another time a guy was taking a leak in someones rack...thought he had made it to the head...that didn’t end well either.

14 yrs of sea duty and never saw two men in the same rack....

“Rip the shirt, how cliche. I suppose next you’re going to make me walk the plank?” from Cheech & Chong first album

Its from “Pedro & Man at the Drive-In” from Los Cochinos. The line is from the ‘movie’ in the skit, “Buggery on the High Seas.”

At first I thought this headline had to be translated from a German newspaper.

What a slovenly outfit the U.S. Navy has become. No decent parents will want their sons to join such an immoral outfit.

12. There are three ways in which a ruler can bring
misfortune upon his army:--

13. (1) By commanding the army to advance or to retreat,
being ignorant of the fact that it cannot obey.
This is called hobbling the army.

14. (2) By attempting to govern an army in the
same way as he administers a kingdom, being ignorant
of the conditions which obtain in an army. This causes
restlessness in the soldier's minds.

15. (3) By employing the officers of his army
without discrimination, through ignorance of the
military principle of adaptation to circumstances.
This shakes the confidence of the soldiers.

16. But when the army is restless and distrustful,
trouble is sure to come from the other feudal princes.
This is simply bringing anarchy into the army, and flinging
victory away.

I don’t see anything wrong in the two sailors’ actions. One was under the covers, the other was over the covers. They were watching a movie. Were they supposed to sit on the sofa? I mean, sailors’ rooms all have sofas, right?

OK, forgive the dumb question-what would happen to a man and a woman “found in the same bunk”?

It's quite possible that one or both of them could get screwed if that happens...

It’s Garrett Morris, always loved his job as Weekend Update’s “News for the Hard of Hearing” translator. Thought he’d passed but he’s still kicking, has a comedy club in LA. He was shot in 1994 in a robbery attempt but made a full recovery.

KAFFEE
And you certainly don’t have to do it
twice in one sentence. Harold, what’s a
Code Red?

DAWSON
Sir, a Code Red is a disciplinary
engagement.

KAFFEE
What does that mean, exactly?

DAWSON
Sir, a marine falls out of line, it’s up
to the men in his unit to get him back on
track.

KAFFEE
What’s a garden variety Code Red?

DAWSON
Sir?

KAFFEE
Harold, you say sir and I turn around and
look for my father. Danny, Daniel, Kaffee.
Garden variety; typical. What’s a basic
Code Red?

DAWSON
Sir, a marine has refused to bathe on a
regular basis. The men in his squad would
give him a G.I. shower.

KAFFEE
What’s that?

DAWSON
Scrub brushes, brillo pads, steel wool ...

SAM
Beautiful.
