Contending that the purported "seasoned beef" or "seasoned ground beef" in a number of Taco Bell menu items isn't as meaty as it sounds, consumer law firms have filed a federal suit in California this week asking for a court determination on the issue.

Humm. What is the “chicken”?
“Why do you think there are not many cats in Mexico?”
Cat! The other white meat.
If they extend the beef with something healthy, like oats, I’m all for it. I grew up with meatloaf extended with oats. Good stuff, and quite healthy.
The meat issue and a local sales tax issue are why I rarely eat fast food. There is just nothing to it any more. It’s more work to cook at home but at least I know what I’m eating!
Funniest poster I ever saw a picture of....[stapled to a telephone pol] “FOUND - Lovable Beagle Puppy, Brown & Black Spots with White background (adorable picture). Friendly and Playful....Tasted like Chicken.”
And like, chewed and then *swallowed* it?
Ewwwww....
Hell...I’ve ate stuff the bled for 7 days and didnt die....
Ah....must be a muzzy behnd this somewhere...
Sue them for brooming the chili cheese burrito instead! Damn those were good!
$2.67 and I get a Chicken burrito and Soft Taco and its always fresh as could be.
These lawyers are going to fix that.
I am an attorney and have my own law practice and loathe these vultures!
Well, "pork" is singular. They don't call it "porks and beans" for a reason.
When I was a young'un (50 some years ago) my family went camping in the Smokies with two of my uncles. We went for a little stroll that accidently turned into an all-day hike.
It was getting dark when we made our way back to the campsite, and we knew that all we had at camp was a large can of pork and beans. That was sounding better and better as the day bore on.
We got back to camp, and knew that the only store for many many miles was closed for the night. We got the campfire going and opened our one large can of pork and beans.
My mom poured it out in a pan. There was the tiny piece of pork, a bunch of juice, and no beans.
You could hear stomachs growling all night.
I head to TB here in L.A. because it’s damn cheap. For $5 you get 2 beef chalupas and a side of tacos with drink. This is like asking McDonald’s what’s in their frozen then heated “burger” patties. Don’t ask, just eat.
TB is the best Fast food by far.
>TB is the best Fast food by far.
Well..it’s a toss-up between In N Out’, Astro Burger, Fat Burger and Taco Bell. heck, I’ve eaten from those mexican roach mobiles that serve tacos and hotdogs for $3 so it’s all good.
Haven’t been inside a Take-A-Smell in decades; Taco Bell lies on three levels:
It isn’t fast, it isn’t Mexican, and it sure isn’t food!
Should you be allowed to advertise a beef and pork mixture as "beef".
