I moved east because of family reasons....I didn’t notice any signs of trouble when I moved east in 1991....didn’t really want to leave.

We've known a few people that thought they were escaping something....Two set of friends have since returned, and the others, my Brother in Law and wife regret they every moved back to Ohio....They're are now selling and heading back...They thought 35 acres for real cheap was great...

Yes. I’ve been in CA since the 60s and I’ve watched it happen.
I did not know that. Just in my personal experience, I’ve met a number of “military brats” that were black, but none that were hispanic.
Was at Disneyland a couple of days ago for the first time in 15 years. Public announcements and recorded ride instructions are now in Spanish too.

It should be obvious to anyone who takes off the rose-colored glasses and looks around to observe the fate of Euros in _other_ places where they have been reduced to minority status and lost political power.
No, Euros haven’t lost _all_ of their political power, not yet. That’s probably a few years’ off, yet. But of the Euros that are _left_, what are their political leanings?
Look at Rhodesia.
Look at South Africa.
How’s bein’ the minority with little or no political power left to change things working out for the Euros in _those_ places?
That can’t happen here, though.

BTW, last time I was in California (the northern part) was in 1984. Back then it was a beautiful place. I’ll suppose that [at least in the rural areas] much of the physical beauty remains, but I’m sure there are parts of Rhodesia and South Africa that are beautiful yet, too!

Keep laughing. I don’t laugh at the destruction of California. But I see what has happened there for what it is, and I don’t see much of a future for Anglos there. Probably about as much of one as there is in Detroit.
North/central California _might_ have a chance, if they could break off from the southern portion of the state. Don’t foresee that as happening, though. Pehraps your observations are different.
What would my own state have to do with anything?
The value of my own house has been destroyed by an “illegal hotel” which was constructed out of a [former] 2-family home adjacent to my property. Gringos don’t buy in this neighborhood any more.
I’ve seen the same changes here as out there. Once “they’re here”, not much chance of getting rid of them. The only “chance” left is to go where there is still “strength in your own numbers”. That’s what I’ll be doing soon!
