In tracking the response to the launch of the site and petition to draft Sarah Palin for the Chairmanship of the RNC, we have seen varied reactions ranging from enthusiasm, to curiosity, to skepticism, to racist bigotry, to deafening silence.
One common denominator in near uniformity, however, is the consensus that Michael Steele is, at best, ineffective as Chair of the RNC for one or more of the following reasons.

No way! Nothing but a bunch of RINOs wanting to put Sarah in a cage!
I’m sorry to see that on biggovernment.com—though I suppose it is an initiative from big-government Republicans.
I completely disagree.
Palin needs to be free to do exactly what she’s doing...speaking out. The RNC chair would muzzle her.
Done. I signed it. Thanks!
Ditto!
"Nobody puts Sarah in a corner!"
... or something like that...
Bingo.
Great point, I agree with you.
Just posted this out of interest.
Steel needs to go but Sarah doesn’t need to be
painting an even larger target on her back.
The dems will scrutanize republican fundraising
with all the power of government behind them
to try and find any impropriety that can
be insinuated to stick to her. It would
dog every minute of her campaign.
Would she be able to raise a war chest?
There is no doubt about her ability to
draw the crowds but only if she had no
interest in running for office and that
is too big a price to pay when we need
her as a national leader and a voice for
conservativism.
Steele does not deserve to get fired for the most sensible thing he, or any other RNC chair, has said.
Put Newt or one of the others in the slot.
MITT-ens for RNC chair. About the only thing he does well is raise money.
Well, Mitt Romney would love for this to happen since it would pretty much get her out of his way for 2012.
The Big Government Republicans have turned against Steele not that he had spoken out against their precious empire.
Agree. Don't get caught up in this crap. Steele is fine just where he is and Sarah has bigger moose to fry.
If Governor Palin were as dumb as most of the people calling her dumb, she might take this job. She is not, so she wont. So sign or dont sign petitions as you wish, the GOP has a head of its national committee right now and I don’t expect it will ever be Gov. Palin.
No way. Talk about destroying her credibility, making her the front man of the RINO’s will do it.
Steele is fine just where he is and Sarah has bigger moose to fry.

Got any names of people he helped win?
I know Sarah has helped a few Republicans win.
It would be a win win for both her and the party.
