Bad move.

She is a great public spokesperson, modivator, etc.

She is far from a professional organizer, committee leader, admin type, and she would hate the job.

Don't make the mistake of universalizing her.

Putting lipstick on a turd of an idea.

RNC chair is absolutely the WORST idea. Palin is doing what she ought to be doing right now.

Why would she deliberately sideline herself? Why would she go along with people who want to sideline her? What the RNC needs is someone who is low profile and effective, in the mold of Haley Barbour. The RNC chairman’s function is to get Republicans elected, not to make statements and take controversial positions on public policy.

Sorry, but Sarah has her eye on another job, POTUS 2012’, much to the consternation of Myth Romney and his surrogates in the RNC and GOP elites.

As much as I love Sarh Palin, AND what she truly stands for and works towards ... THOSE are EXACTLY the reasons I don’t want her to head up a loser organization like the RNC.

The RNC has betrayed “us” way too any times.

I do not want Gov. Palin tarred with the brush of old-school Republican Party.

She can run on the ticket, but PLEASE don;t head up the party.

I’m not so sure about that. They might publicly pretend a little distance and I’m sure they’re not impressed with his performance, but the Boston Globe just had an article about how New England Pubbies are a strong base of support for him—and they’re the consummate big-government GOPers.

DO NOT SIGN THE PETITION!!!!! We don't want her for RNC chair, where the left can shoot her full of holes! Also, she can't launch for President from that position. Whether she wins or not "fate" will determine ... but to have her as an ACTIVE VOICE on the campaign trail, not STIFLED by the RINOs that now run the Republican Party, would give many of us a VOICE we do not have now.

NO DO NOT SIGN THE PETITION!!!!! (In fact somebody needs to start a petition to KEEP HER FROM being RNC Chair!)

Michael Steele will remain at the RNC, at least until after the Nov. elections. Also, Sarah Palin is at her best outside the confines of the party apparatus.

A huge HELL NO to RNC chair..that job would only muzzle her which is exactly what Romney and Huckabee want. Plus, she doesn’t want the job anyway, she has already said repeatedly that she won’t help the RNC in any fundraisers..she has bigger fish to fry then the RNC..she wants the White House

I’m with you.....Sarah’s got a fine role just where she is....holding the RNC (and other so called GOP orgs) feet to the fire......how are ya, Sandy?

Deer, meet headlights = Obama meet Sarah!

Forget that idea, just what Sarah does not need. The Pubbies would like nothing better than to put a muzzle on the only straight talking person in the party. Leave her alone, for once a loose cannon is just fine.

This is nothing more than a move to isolate her and make her ineffective. Nope, her leadership in the WH will get things done, to heck with the Old Crony’s Club.

Screw that. The RNC would just encourage her inclination toward “comprehensive immigration reform.”
If the GOP had any sense, they would be pounding sand into our southwestern border rat-holes.
