LIMA, Peru (AP) -- Peruvian police said Wednesday that a young Dutchman previously arrested in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway is being sought as a suspect in a weekend murder of a Peruvian woman.
Chief of detectives Col. Miguel Canlla told The Associated Press that Joran Van Der Sloot was being sought in the Sunday killing in a Lima hotel of 21-year-old Stephany Flores.

The sex trafficking angle seems more likely; that he was working for a cartel of some type - probably with corrupt law enforcement - which is why the Aruban police did nothing. Looks as if his employers transfered him to Peru -where he was less well known. His father was probably a corrupt judge and knew what his son was involved in. No honor - no punishment. YET!!!

Weren’t those initial, really early rumors all tied up with Peru? I found the idea that they all sold her into sexual slavery and were trying to hide the proceeds of the sale to be very convincing.
