According to the Guardian
The economic case for global action to stop the destruction of the natural world is even more powerful than the argument for tackling climate change, a major report for the United Nations will declare this summer.

Yes, when you hypothesis turns out to be bullshit, spread it around in a different form. Maybe it will make things grow in other ways.

Liberal commies never give up.
If one approach doesn’t work, they try another.
If that doesn’t work out, they rename their cause or use endless suphemisms.
If they get caught in a lie, they blame somebody else.
This is how commie dictators work the system, game the system and it is done at all of ours expense. Every last one of us. Need I say more.

How will we tell the people the fever, that never was, has been fixed. Will Al Gore do another fiction PowerPoint show with the scissors ladder, explaining how he turned down the wick of the sun?
Why not — Tell them what it all is, since the era of DDT, ozone, ALAR, it’s all been lies and deceit.
There is going to be disappointment in liberal lala land — Until they manage to rid the word of the scourge of the Internet.

U.N. report suggests dropping climate change in favor of 'saving the natural world (mo taxes)
Man is part of nature; therefore, whatever he does is natural and worthy of saving (that includes intercontinental air traffic, nuclear, coal, and oil-based power, air-conditioning, refrigeration, pesticides, fertilizers, and recombinent DNA technology, to mention a few).

If humans are considered part of nature, then what humans do is natural.
If humans are not considered part of nature, then I volunteer all the libtard whacko “scientists” to be the first to save the “natural” world by departing.

Not that this is specifically related to this thread but this video is a great illustration of the house of cards this whole world "economy" is built on.
In some ways I can't help but think part of this scheme is just a way of creating money from the air we breath making most of us poor and some very rich.

Paying countries for NOT developing resources makes about as much sense as giving military medals for NOT shooting. Zimbabwe is very good at not doing anything productive. The UN should create a Robert Mugabe Prize for Starvation and Inflation.

Will "saving the natural world" last the week?
