Chris Nelson, who's retiring after two terms as South Dakota's secretary of state to challenge Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-S.D.), gets asked by Kevin Woster whether he believes President Obama is a citizen of the United States. Nelson doesn't know.
[M]eeting the constitutional qualifications to be President is a very important issue. If President Obama isn’t constitutionally qualified, it would be the biggest scam ever perpetuated on the American people. MANY people contacted me as Secretary of State prior to and after the election asking how Obama could be on our ballot given this controversy. Absent a court finding that he isn’t a natural born citizen, we have to take the certification from the National Democratic Convention at face value.
Of course, most people have taken "at face value" Obama's certification of live birth from Hawaii, released by the campaign in 2008, as proof of where he was born. Interestingly, Nelson's less-well-established primary challengers don't take the bait, and blow off the question.

You're kidding, right? The Constitution has been "ignored"...strike that...it has been trampled and spat upon for over 70 years - arguably longer.
Congress just passed Obamacare under the theory that being a carbon-based life form means one is "engaging in commerce" - and it will be upheld in the courts by a combination of leftist and squishy go-along "conservative" judges who don't want to be called bad names by the New York Times. Do you REALLY think this noxious combination of the unprincipled and the evil is going to unseat a sitting president based on the simple fact that he isn't constitutionally qualified? The Constitution is a "living, breathing" document to them, remember? They'll just breathe whatever they need into it to keep Obama in office. And what's more, I think you know this already.
Here's the bottom line. He may or may not have been born in the U.S. But the Constitution doesn't matter in this case, and it barely matters in ANY case until we elect a boatload of congresscritters who give a damned about it over an extended period of time. THAT battle, with years of hard work, can be won. This birth certificate thing, though, is a pointless distraction that gives ammunition to our enemies and dissipates our energies into the black hole of a hopeless cause.

Their faces will have to held in place for them to see through their delusions if the unequivocal truth surfaces that finds Obama not qualified. Obama’s teflon coating will end after November - the political heat will be turned up as a consequence.
Good arguments, but the American people aren’t buying it. Even though they not no Social Security COLA in January 2010, the media didn’t report it, and the people are waiting for special checks in the mail.
But it’s not unpleasantness at all to at least 45 percent and probably 53 percent. “They won”, they often say.
What difference does the Constitution make - even if there are decent SCOTUS justices - if the local bureaucrat can make up the rules as she goes, the media can lie with impunity, and police officers and FBI alike wink at crime?
We need both battles, Hank. We need to clean out the top. We need to clean out the bottom. And we need to clean out everything in between.
Look what is happening to the Army office standing up. The lesson is not lost on the American people.

The issue is not helping Obama one bit. It certainly not helping him hold onto to Congress that he will certainly lose this November. It's the big lie if exposed that will bring Obama down completely.

If that stats I have been keeping for the past ten years, the real hardcore in the US is around 34%-35%. It has actually stayed pretty constant for a long time. The simple fact is they worked much harder than we did to get themselves into places of power.
It’s not over not by a long shot. Battles are not always won in a day.
Well if we can’t get that, we could probably settle for having them all banished and in exile. Preferably on of the countries they praise so highly!

Hawaii is the only state that can say the DNC presented a candidate that the DNC pre-certified “legally....”. The other states actually certified him BY their acceptance. The DNC document given to the other states did not say he was qualified for the office.
We all know Hawaii’s role in this farce, of course. That’s why I find it ironic that Hawaii is off the hook accepting him as a certified candidate for the ballot. Is that not a correct assessment?
As long as the lawless communists control the educational system, the media, the sciences, the bureaucrats, the supposed “church”, the military, the courts, and law enforcement.... the people will never elect government officials who cherish the Constitution or the rule of law.
The apathy, ignorance, and stupidity of the American populace is the only thing that can kill this nation.
Like it or not, but WE (that’s you and me) have to educate the people to the lawlessness that is going on. We need to paint a clear picture for people of what it would be like to live where there is no rule of law, where the most powerful can do whatever they darn well please regardless of what law is on the books, and anybody with authority to make them obey the law or punish them for not obeying the law simply winks and sings the praises of the law-breaker.
People need to see what the stakes are. In spite of all the garbage put out in the media and Soros’ rent-a-mobs, the vast majority of Americans realize what’s in store for us if we don’t enforce immigration laws. Maybe they’ve heard stories of the Mexican drug cartels and how they have adopted the methods of terrorists since they saw the impact of the Daniel Perle beheading video. Maybe they’ve heard of faces sewn onto soccer balls, beheadings, people being dissolved in acid, etc, just south of our borders.
That’s the language the everyday person understands. I can’t believe that most Americans would hand their children over to “The Dark Knight” kind of living if they knew that is what awaits us. People who don’t care about socialism v capitalism still don’t want to see their kids beheaded and they hate being lied to as if they were stupid.
I think for the most part Americans are ignorant. The key is to help them see the python around their neck BEFORE resistance is futile. The democratic process is nice and all, and certainly we need to do what we can with that, but I honestly don’t know if we have that much time.
